Good enough first half. Very unlucky not to have scored at least once. Tremmel was very lucky with the save from Glen, Enrique just off, Sterling crossbar.
I like Shlevey but I'd rather see Suso before him in this game! However, Gerrard will be walking off the pitch come the final whistle
Both side with good chances. We are on top though with some great chances. Still think they will score second half though.
Thing is, that is an all too familiar first half for us, it is what usually follows in the second half that concerns me

dont think downing is doing to badly in a unfamiliar position. gerrard needs to be subbed, the games passing him by. Shelvey for his psychical presence and work rate.
