Saw a dead crow outside my mum's house this morning. A crow's a bit like a magpie, isn't it? I'm taking it as an omen.

Incidentally, if a pigeon should fly into St Marys during the game, this is the "pigeon of pain" and it means the visitors are about to score. If a seagull flies in, on the other hand, we will have been visited by "the seagull of success", and Saints will be about to score.

    These are true facts.

Krul, Simpson, Williamson, Tayor, Santon, Jonas, Tiote, Anita, Ferguson, Ba, Cisse

Subs: Harper, Tavernier, Perch, Bigi, Marv, Sammy, Ranger

Feeling a lot more confident now, only Ben Arfa & Colo missing.

    Edit: and Cabaye!

Shola's missing, but he's not really a member of our first 11, that said he's very hand to have on the bench.

Aye only the three 1st teamers is good news. We knew we'd have the options missing so positive news this teamsheet. Shame Perchino not fit enough/considered good enough to start ahead of Willo.

Hope Jonas' instructions for the game are to hit the by-line and get his crosses in, looking forward to seeing him on the right.

<laugh> For some weird reason I was forgetting Ferguson is also a LM, so this confused me greatly <doh>

Well 4-4-2 will probably work better with this set-out than previously to be honest, because the midfield won't get too far from the defence, especially with Tiote and Anita. Reverting to long-ball would be a waste of time because there'll be massive space between our strikers and DMs. Keeping possession in DM, spraying it wide to wingers for a cross in is a much better idea. Let's see what Pardew does!

Please take Cisse off, he's just getting caught offside and fouling the opposition.
