Afternoon all - just off to the airport to pick up daughter after her week-end in Ayr. Mexico - not rubbing it in, but the curry was very good. A couple of Cobra's, popodoms and pickles to start and then a Chicken Dansak with Aloo Gobi and a Tarka Dhal along with a Garlic & Corrinder Naan - very tasty as well. Evening was made even better with finding a pub that had Perroni on draft!!
Afternoon all- hey, guess what? Keef's a Hornet??!! Just watching the second part of 'Crossfire Hurricane' on the i-player. Have a look at a brief section from 04:10. http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b01p6n09/Rolling_Stones_Crossfire_Hurricane_Part_T
Are you connected with the outside world again BB, or still having to pay a heavy price to borrow a computer?
Yes - laptop was repaired a couple of weeks ago - although everything points to it needing to be replaced. It's about five years old and creaking with age - must be around 80 in human years.

Frothy cappuccinos for for al, HH, Leon and W_Y Coffees for COYH, Frenchie, Kev rob theo and vic-rijrode Strong coffee for Sandy Milky coffee for Yorkie Hot chocolate with marshmallows for BBW Tea with skimmed milk and no sugar for GG Tea and cake for Minx Caramel latte for Hornette Una Paloma for Mexican Hornet Espresso for SuffolkHorn Strong black coffees for Bragi Norway and zen Black coffee half hot half cold and no sugar for Charlie Tea for BHD jsybarry jerzeypie Lloydinio NZ and BCFCRed The town is quiet this morning, more quiet than normal anyway. It is not the temperature -1C or the ambience which is clear and dry. I have started Theos The Glint of Silver. Unusual for a male author to have a young female as the main character. I am enjoying what I have read so far. The old names for towns was confusing to start, but with some research is not difficult.
Morning all from a very damp West West London, although there is a break in the rain and sky looks a bit brighter. Thanks for the frothy AK
What does it take to get a drink in this place, i've been waiting at the bar and you just keep serving all the regulars. Do i need to flash a bit of moob?
Morning AK, thanks for coffee. Glad you're enjoying it! Up to 80,000 words of the next one edited this morning. Do PM me if there's anything in it that doesn't make sense and, assuming I know what it's supposed to mean, I'll explain...
Prett y good reason! Did you see them live out there? And are the colours political like the ANC's black/green/yellow?
Hi all. I'm supposed to give my ex-wife some money every month on pay day, and she was supposed to come and collect it from me today. She hasn't been able to collect it from me as the only key for her car has gone missing. Her eldest visited yesterday evening, and he has history in pinching his brothers' stuff when he was still living there, so it's possible that he took it. The irony is that part of the money was to be used to get his 18th birthday present from her! If she doesn't get it today, it's £30 more tomorrow as it's on special offer today (no idea what it is) and she can't really afford the difference.
Never had the chance to see them live - more's the pity. And I suppose, yes they are political - they are the colours of the aboriginal flag.
Afternoon all, dry and mild here, rather better than some areas in the UK. I see that the heavy rainfall is moving north towards Yorkshire, so I hope that those intending to travel can do so safely.
Back from the dentist...mouth one filling fuller; wallet much emptier. No toffees for 24 hours I'm told...
