Plus pointing out the type of character that Suarez is. Despite Luis openly admitting he doesn't like to be booed (who would), he has clearly shown that it motivates him to play better too. I am sure these comments will provide a bit of motivation too
Yes can be confusing, when these players jump ship! Never mind you got yourself a good one there, trained by the evil genius Ferrie Bodde!.......
"Jumping ship"?, So you're basing that on players leaving Swansea on or after Allen's departure? He had a legit choice to leave the schooner Swansea for the Ocean Liner Liverpool, surely "jumping ship" would be someone leaving when a club is at its weakest?
The only prayer that BR has is that I ( once again) can't get to the game as I am finishing up my B. to all LFC fans.......... you are welcome (again). To all Swans, it was all Roberto and Sousa...... funny how they got dropped before the main man took them to the big league.
I don't know if I'm missing something here, but I don't think anyone has said that it was all Martinez and Sousa. If there is any point being made, it's that it wasn't all Rodgers. Rodgers was lucky to have the platform in place left to him by said mentioned, and added the cutting edge with his Chelsea links bringing in Sinclair and then for the final push Borini. Neither got dropped either incidentally, Martinez left us for his lover DW and Sousa left for the bright lights of Leicester city
What the **** was that about? You were very hard to beat under Sousa but lacked goals. Rodgers got the balance right for you lot and Laudrup seems to also have it right. This should be a good game i would be quietly confident if we had Lucas at DM, without him it means a lot of work for the midfield and imo the full backs need to make sure they work back as that is where the threat will come from.
What I find amusing is that Rodgers was lucky because the platform was in place and he just applied the finishing touches, yet Laudrup is the best thing since sliced bread No offence intended to most of the Swansea fans I have spoken to, its only a select few
Today is a must win for us, if we win and West Ham, Spurs draw then we'll go 7th or 8th (depending on how many we win by). That's 1 point behind Arsenal, and 1 point in front of Spurs who were both in the top 4 last season and you can bet they will be towards the end of the season (or Arsenal at least). Considering it's our worst start for 100 years or something stupid, we would be at a great position for this stage in the season.
Bit harsh on Hendo, he was only poor when played at RB which isn't remotely close to his prefered position. He was fine when sitting in the DM role, nice and tidy with good energy and good positioning. Would love to see Hendo, Gerrard, Suso starting in midfield with Sterling, Suarez, Enrique up top.
Just leaving for the game and the weather to day is ****e , no need for the sprinklers thats for certain. If players go down on this surface they want to make sure all the exits are closed cos they'll end up in the Tawe and swimming home . Our Spanish contingent may not fancy the conditions today .Looking forward to a good game , which ever way the result goes . Plenty of mistakes and plenty of goals , 3-2 to the Mighty Swans
Reina, Johnson, Skrtel, Agger, Downing, Gerrard, Allen, Hendo, Sterling, Enrique, Suarez. Interesting
