    Racing today comes from Chester, Punchestown, Ffos Las, Goodwood, Newton Abbey, Wetherby and Wincanton.

    Punchestown shows the way today with a couple of G1 events. The World Series Hurdle looks a nice strong event this year. Mullens had a trio in the race, headed by the Ruby Walsh mount Quevega. He seems to be the one to beat, so I'll take the punt and nap him.

    All naps and comments welcome. (Should Kauto Star be retired?)

    Ffos Las. Good to firm.


    Goodwood. Good to firm.


    Newton Abbey. Good to firm.


    Wetherby. Good to firm.

    The Chester Vase looks as though it may hold a very good animal in the shape of Slumber. His win in the Derby Trial at Epsom was full of merit. There is a huge push for the maiden winner Nathanial in the same race. Then when you throw in the AOB chance Treasure Beach, it's hard to believe that the ultimate winner will not go on to better things.
