http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/formula1/20477830 Not afraid to say, the last 30seconds to a minute reduced me to tears, especially watching the car move off into the horizon. Good to know "it was a bloody good time".
It's official now, Maldonado gets his third reprimand of the season, meaning a 10 place grid penalty (he'll start 16th)
Best setup will probably be for whatever condition the track is in at the end, a la Button in Canada last year. No point being a second per lap faster at the start if you're a second per lap slower at the end with your lead wiped out by Safety Cars or red flags.
Seconded. Nobody can possibly forecast that until mid-way/late into the race though. So still the setup will be a complete guesstimate. ****ing weathermen better not be dishing false hope.
That bit when he talks about Japan 2000 was pretty moving (the music helps). These past 3 years have made me like him more. I was just a little kid hating the bad guy when he was dominating (muggle voldemort). I definitely think if I was to go back to 1998 - 2004 now as a much more informed F1 fan I would certainly appreciate him much more now. Even as a McLaren fan.
Jordan Irvine ‏@IrvineF1 And with that, it is already raining in São Paulo. Forecasts say this is set in now for today, and all of tomorrow.
Going to be a Hamilton victory unless it rains and that might change the race completely. Alonso seems to be one of the better drivers in wet conditions.
People come to notice now that he is human, you can see in his eyes he is tired after all he has given to F1, the fact that he tells the truth about wanting wins and WDC's also hits home. He came back and he may have failed to some people, but to others he lit up their lives and dreams a bit more. I don't want Sunday to come, the last time he lines up and tears off will break my heart as a Schumi fan. Love me or hate me for that. These three years have been tough, ups and downs on not606, arguments... even stupid ones that needn't be. Once Schumacher goes I may be a little more neutral on here. Haha.... True haha. I deserve it. Both us Hamelots and Scheeple, are full of emotions this weekend.
The titles battles with Hakkinen made for good viewing, 2002 and 2004 were just plain boring though. What wasn't mentioned in the film was him breaking his leg in 1999 and how he came back the same season as if he had never been away. That does deserve some respect.
Adam Cooper ‏@adamcooperf1 #F1 Lots of chat about wet set-up, but top drivers say same thing - it doesn't really exist, they are max downforce here anyway
Think i'll take a bath then watch some netflix how are you lot going about the last 18hrs before the race?
I'm pretty chilled tbh. It's nearly 9am here, so I'll get up and go for a run, and then me and a few mates going out later tonight, just have to make sure I'm back by 3am
Just sad, a bit down that this is it for the season in general. Going to watch T.V then get some sleep. Do some Uni work tomorrow and come on here for a bit. In a contemplative mood really.
