Many posters on here think that MON has lost it and is "out of touch" with the modern game. Can he turn it around??I hope that he can,and I believe that he will in the very near future. He is mainly dealing with the players that Bruce signed and hasn't had time to bring in his own signings yet.Give him that chance in the January transfer-window by giving him some decent cash to spend, and I think that we will be cooking on gas.My only criticism is that we should play two up-front at home....Fletcher and Wickham.

I don't know who to blame and feel deflated. The only man who looked up for it was Sess and TBH we could of been two up. If WBA are the form team then there isn't a lot between the two of us but they gave us a lesson in finishing/counter attack. Lets be honest take away their 4th as we were throwing everything at them how many teams are good enough to come back from the goals we gifted them? When we lost JOS and Catts we had no bite and were always going to struggle. McClean's confidence is shattered and he needs a move tbh as he has no future at this club with certain fans, Johnson flatters to decieve and Fletch needs help. We don't have the players to play the way MON wants us to play. Some of the passing (when not under pressure) was criminal yet anyone who thinks we aren't in bother needs to look again.

In defence we are an injury away from a crisis, in midfield apart from Sess/Catts lets be honest we are distinctly average and apparently we only have one striker. January will be massive for us but what we need is not easily found (CB/CM(Attacking)/Striker). The funny thing is we could of drawn that game today! And yes I know the pen was a dive but what was Jono thinking?

This is part of building a team though...it takes time...yu can't do what Bruce did...look at what is left, had MON gone out and signed another 8 players where would we be???? Does anyone seriously think we will go down?

He was probably thinking, "I have done everything right here defensively and got my legs in position to block any attempted cross, without touching the player. "
His next thought will have been, "What a diving cheating ****, I never touched him."

Even lip reading you could see him say it to the ref." I never touched him."

I know but he dived in and to be honest it looked like a pen from every angle apart from one so it's the chance you take.

It would have been a brilliant block if Cheatwell had actually attempted the cross rather than diving.

To give a penalty the ref has to see the incident.
He quite clearly guessed and actually watching it on MOTD the ref was in a good enough position to see if there was contact.
The only contact was when Cheatwell landed on AJ.
So the ref just assumed it was a foul.

I don't even think Johnson would have managed to block it, it was a stupid challenge. Just gave him the chance to go down, PL footballers never take much persuading. Ridgewell is still a ****. We've all got our divers though!

    Well thank you Nostradamus.
I think I will go with the ex pros on MOTD who agreed with me than your good self.

If AJ hadn't at least attempted to get back and block the cross he would have been slated on here.

Aye that cheating **** Tiote eh?
And yes I used the pink for him intentionally.

You're on your male rags aren't you? Or has your lass just shown you the strap on for later?

I was thinking more Jonas and the hilarious Larsson to be honest. Or how about Sausagejockey today? The ref just laughed at the little gimp.

Why would I have to try harder?
You quite clearly lost it and were stamping your feet.

What has MONs wages got to do with it?

    PS.
    As for trying.
    Yes you are. <ok>
