I kinda get what your saying mate, but in truth we ain't been that solid all season. Few games it been Mig and poor finishing, I would like us to play all out attack, whether tha be under MON or anyone else I don't mind as it stands. I think if we 4-4-2 and go at teams, we will win plenty of games. What about you lads and Pards? Any frustration sneaking in?
Sorry, but regardless of the team you are playing, conceded 4 goals is not acceptable. But you stick behind MON, and good on you. But if he resigns it will be a respectable decision, IMO. That's all I'm saying.
I'm getting worried about all this pointing out actual facts. Do we have to rely on the likes of Tash for all the made up stuff?
So why didn't you just say it in the thread already started. Answer honestly if you can, but I wont hold my breath.
Aye mate, but we aren't totally blaming the manager, we've just had a horrid time with injuries really. Colo, Saylor, Simpson, Perch, Tiote, Cabaye, Jonas, Cisse and now Ben Arfa are either currently injured or have been injured at some point. Pardew is a good manager, and has made some ****e decisions, but the players we've had available have also been an issue. It's been a bit of a shakey start, but 3 pts either way would change everything really. We're unbeaten in Europe and we're going through to the next round. So the intelligent lads aren't worrying too much If we win tomorrow then we go within a few pts of the top 6, that's how close it is.
Lads, why we giving the lad ****? He's hoyed a post up, and he's came back with fair comments to points put across, give the lad a break man!
If this was the Newcastle board, I would have stated my opinions on a previous thread, as our mods are far more strict. But this is the Sunderland board, and you guys make loads of pointless threads, so I thought I'd post an article myself.
Fair. He does seem to have lost the confidence to drop in the 4-3-3 that served so well, that seems odd. It's fair on the missing players, but even with them you ain't looked the same. I have to mention Sammy Ameobi, what exactly does he do? 6 games or so ow I've seen him, and he has done very little, I don't see a Premier League footballer, good touch, nothing else. Am I missing summat?
I personally think that we just can't play the 4-3-3 without the right players available. It requires a near full strength side. If we play our best in a 4-3-3, we can decimate almost any side, but we've just not had the players, therefore we've had to play hoofball. We should have signed more players in the summer, but we didn't. Sammy is a good player, and has had fantastic impact in Europa League games. He's still young and developing, but I realise why some people see him as a bit of a donkey. He's very much like Shola. He frustrates the **** out of you, but will make magic at the right times. Sammy has great skill on the ball, and skins players, and his passing and overall ability are improving.
I don't think MON should resign. That's not gonna serve any purpose. The teams confidence is down. Sacking the manager will just down it further. You have a decent squad. There's quality there. The problem is you're not playing at your level. I thought you'd come to life after being quite lucky last week, today was obviously a disappointment but I think some form is just around the corner for you. You don't have the injury worries we have atm and something's gonna click eventually. All this manager sacking rarely ever works. Sometimes a team escapes the drop but 9 times out of 10 they go down the followng season, see QPR, Blackburn and countless others. Sess has been looking better, i think you're a midfield maestro away from being a decent premiership side. Look at us without Cabaye, we're utterly useless. Can't string together 3 offensive passes. There's no pacing in our play, no passing of the ball, just random running and kicking. Then we get picked off. Every team needs a footballing leader. Catts and Colback ain't it.
Rofl. I don't see why a thread needs to be made on this board whenever you score. I sometimes visit your board on match day and see threads like "gerrrrrin" XD Whenever you score there's a thread posted!
See, I've not seem him do anything int he Europa games I've watched (Maritimo, Brugges). I think his passing is woeful, he's about Vaughan standard, Vaughan also has lovely touch. I've said a thousand times Vaughan is never a top flight player.
I'm personally not saying he should resign, but if he is resigning, I think he's doing it for the right reasons. If he can't make a team work, he'll leave, and that's a respectable decision.
