I come in peace. It seems like you either play defensive football, score no goals, maybe 1 if Fletcher finds the net, or you play attacking football and cannot defend! I think MON is doing the right thing by resigning. He obviously realises that he cannot work with the current tools available. Bruce wasn't willing to resign until he dragged your club down. If the rumours are true, and MON is planning to resign, then I say that's a respectable decision. If he is to resign, he obviously has respect for your club and doesn't want to hurt it.
I think he needs the QPR game and the Norwich game to prove he can do it. Then he can go if he fails.
If you keep baffling people, by spouting facts, me and you are going to have a big falling out bonny lad.
You've played more attacking football recently, but you've also started to concede more goals, and that's my point. You seem to either play negative/defensive football, and not concede that many, but you don't score that much either. If you decide to play attacking football, you score but you concede too many.
I welcome the abuse, but I think my points are valid. You seem to either be defensively solid, but at the same time not score, or you play attacking footy and score, but you concede too many! MON can't find a balance.
That's fair, but the team overall has looked way better. I don't give a **** about conceding personally, winning 3-2 is fine by me! I do think we are poor at CB, flat footed, and I think we've been fortunate by the Migs excellence to have conceded so few, rather than it being a change in tactics. The extra goals are more down to AJ & Sess starting to find a bit of form.
Aye but losing 2-4 at home, where you're supposed to be solid, isn't acceptable. MON either plays football that is solid but doesn't get goals, or plays attacking footy where Johnson and Sess play well, score goals, but the defense can't keep goals out. MON can't find a balance where you score and stop the enemy from scoring. He seems to either score goals and lose, or not score but draw.
tah you are , as usual talking bollocks! If you knew anything about football I could perhaps forgive you. Nothing many teams could do about the first goal. Came of Johnson and Gera came up with a special finish. Mig makes an awful blunder, so that's two goals you can't blame the manager for. The third was a dive and he conned the ref, so there are 3 of the goals conceded the fourth we were caught going for the equaliser. Who wouldn't chase the game? On top of that we were playing a very well oiled West Brom who have just beaten Chelsea, they are dangerous going forward and I seem to remember them stuffing you last year (as well as us). So basically you are **** stirring and your arguement in my honest opinion is a crock of ****e!
