Marney was a ****er for that, we showed him respect before the game applauding him, there was only a minority booing him.

Stockdale was nervous I think, but still managed a composed performance IMO.

Burnley defended well, you can tell it was what they came here to do considering that they were time wasting in the first 10 minutes at 0-0.

Charlie Austin disappointed me, I thought he was dire.

Thought Chester had Austin in his back pocket all match. Deserved his MOTM.

We lost it in midfield in the first half. Far too sloppy in passing and we gave them too much room.

Disappointing result today, hopefully we can get back on track with a victory on Tuesday.

Olofinjana was poor, he's too much of a Fairy, he needs too much time on the ball. Time for him to move on I'm thinking.

Meyler looked over confident and had questionable decision making at times and seemed to dive one too many times for my liking.

Can't believe Oli even started today, I thought he was poor last week at Birmingham. I'd put Evans in his place on Tuesday.

I agree about Oli. He's a pansy. And his passing was as bad as anybodys today.

Dunno how we'll get rid of him- it'll be a massive pay out if he's given the boot and nobody will come in for him.

Unfortunately, we'll probably have to wait until his Contract expires.

OLM, does Oli's contract run out at the end of this Season?

It does, though I suspect we won't see much more of him between now and then.

Burnley were dire. God knows why they sacked Howe for that Dyche ****. They used to play playing proper attacking football with two strikers and two wingers even if they weren't that good at it, Dyche has turned them into just another set of typical Championship thugs. They had two long shots which Stockdale looked very shakey with but apart from that and the goal didn't even try to attack, Austin showed nothing special at all yet has scored 20 goals, presumably by wiping all the defenders out after the ball has gone as he did about 4 times today.

We lost the game when Marney scored - we always struggle against horrible teams like that especially when conceding first. Apart from being too open in the first half which led to their goal, the only thing I really think we did wrong was a general sloppiness of passing and finishing. Did we have a proper shot on target today? We got it in some good positions but always fluffed the shot. Not too many big chances but we had a good 8 or 9 'half chances' which you'd expect at least a few to be on target. Dire shooting today.

They didn't sack Howe, he left for Bournemouth I think.
