You put up a fight. You played a decent game. Much better than any of us expected, and with all the noise surrounding us, you still played well and done us all proud. You held them off as long as you could. Well done. I am proud of you. Cheers <ok><ok><ok><ok>

100% agree. Also liked the look of Mbia at right bank and Hill instead of Ferdinand in the middle.

Mbia at right back is a big plus to our side. Much better that Bosingwa IMO

Yes, I think we all enjoyed that. Mbia impressed! He's got some skill! He could almost play right of midfield, which might be better for him as he gets a bit stuck on the tackling and gets really upset with himself <laugh> he needs to learn to just play in this league, he gets too quickly upset at the basic hard English decision <laugh>

Good post. I'm not into moral victories but in many ways today was a big step forward for us. The players gave their best.

I just really enjoyed the fact that with a different line up, the lads looked like they wanted to play and try a few things, and, showed enough frustration to make it happen and to keep communicating to each other. Even Cissé ! :emoticon-0104-surpr put in a couple of nice crosses, one of which ended up a goal from Mackie, so so so close from being perfect.
