Given the abysmal performance of refs this season I think we should chant the **** ref song from kick off, just to mark his cards for him that way we can really crucify him when he reverts to type Only kidding, but I hope we get a fair ref today, or how about one of those roundabouts that everyone seems to talk of - I've had enough of the swings
i think ive been to 4 matches this season, and at almost all of them we've had to chant **** refs. Blackpool, Forest & Palace all got the chant, the only one that didn't was Hull.
I think we had one of those roundabouts - I didn't think the penalty we were given was a penalty, although the handball a short while later which wasn't given should have been
Without a doubt the best Referee I've seen this season both home and away - mind you he didn't have much of a standard to beat!
Right we had a good ref last week - We've no chance of lightening striking twice in a week so clear those throats everyone - a one, a two, a one, two three **** refs, we only get **** refs, we only get **** refs
This thread is clear proof that refs are reading not 606 and it is my duty to continue to mark their yellow and red cards
You can mark the dosy git we had today as one to watch out for*. In the first 20 minutes I think he was the best defender on both teams with the amount of passes he intercepted and attacks he broke down by checking the players making runs. He also managed to allow Burnley to waste time from the kick off which was annoying enough when we were drawing never mind losing, and then decided in what was basically second half stoppage time that he might as well book one of them for something. *For clarity, we deserved what we got and I'm not saying he cost us anything, he was just bloody useless and I've criticised refs much more after convincing victories before. Edit: Having just looked to see if you'd had him recently, I've just found out he's the same ref we had for the Watford game last season when they did exactly what Burnley did today only we got the winner.
Watford away or home The away game the ref sent off a Watford playing for bringing down Beckford in the box He sent off the wrong player and only gave us a free kick! Cant remember much from the home game other then we won 2-0 so the ref couldnt of been that bad
