Well yes that is true but you all knew that at the start of the season - it's the leaky goals that you, and to be fair, pretty much everyone else is letting in that you must worry about. Teams seem incapable of keeping a clean sheet these days. And before the likes of GAF who don't believe anyone should have an opinion about a team other than their own pipe up I know Watford are as bad as anyone for it with today being a very annoying example.
Dan tbf this thread is superb for lots of different reasons for lots of different posters, i personally like the delusion of the Spurs lads that think football first began the season they first qualified for the CL. I doubt there's a truly happy Scouser or Spud on the thread due to 'both' clubs not being strong enough or good enough to challenge for the Prem title but the bs and banter is funny(especially from HIAG who really revels in his mega-delusion), a special mention for luke who is a mystery, why is he a permanent fixture on the Spurs board if he supports the mancs?
I don't even know where to start with this one: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...10m-swoop-Liverpool-flop-Stewart-Downing.html
When I look at Downing and Milner (or Rooney playing for England come to that) I am lead to believe I don't know a lot about this game because I can't for the life of me see why so many managers rate them.
I think they're decent players Spurf, but not worth the fees or wages that they currently demand. Milner's a very hard working player with a fair bit of skill, but Downing's just been wasted at Liverpool. Dalglish had a tendency to play either him or Carroll, which makes absolutely no sense.
How many Liverpool fans does it take to screw in a light bulb? Zero, they just sit around in the dark and talk about how good the old one used to be.
if Arsenal swap Walcott for Downing Arsene Wenger will be lynched That would be an amazing bit of business for rogers!
I flatter myself that I do, Dan. However, please understand that I take no pleasure in "owning" our Mouser kin; that would be like celebrating the taking of candy from babies, and that would me most unseemly.
More comedy gold from Roy Rodgers today as he says that Enriques disallowed goal " should have stood"! The excuses continue to poor in, along with hard luck stories and sly jibes at Referees. This bloke is starting to sound more and more like Whinger and Bacon Face with every passing game, Roy should get himself along to specsavers...... but he`ll no doubt come back with rose tinted ones.
