This one up front is really boiling my friggin piss now and especially when we are at home. If it were Chelsea, Man Utd or Man City I could understand it but with Connor Wickham bang in form for reserves and England under 21's, its ridiculous that he cant even get 20 mins under his belt in a game like today's.

MoN is digging this hole for himself now and failure to win on Tuesday will start to see a change in the crowd too, especially if we go 1 up top again.

Saha is finished, Campbell a headless chicken and Ji will never be a top flight footballer as long as he has a hole up his arse, so it only leaves our £8m misfit to step in. IMO, its time to give him a 10 game run in the team and lets see what he is made of with 2 strikers for the majority of games.

Our play today was fine but we had **** all up front other than Fletcher who didn't get a sniff all game. Its totally predictable and incredibly frustrating and judging by the many stay away fans today, of no absolutely no attraction to the floating voter. Defeat on Tuesday, with 1 striker and even the loyal fans will not be happy, including me.

No excuses Martin. Just don't expect sympathy or support when we don't even help ourselves in games.

Not a happy bunny today at all and I'm stone cold sober.

It is like Mclean, we know why Bruce would not play him then MON triples his wages!. We need 3 quality midfielders who can actually pass the ball to a Sunderland player, Colback runs about but there is no end result, and we still perform great one match then the next rubbish. I heard a bloke who left like me after the WBA pen went in had said it is the worst team he had seen in 40 years, but i have been hearing things like that for 30 years now. And people are sying wait till tuesday, why? we know we are going for a burton if changes are not mad, and he better go for it next tuesday as i would start Whickham, Fletcher and Campbell up front put Sess back in the middle with Gardner, Sebb, and bring one of the reserves in and give him a chance. there seems to be no one who knows what to do when they go forward. Will tuesday be it for MON?.

The midfield is woeful. Larsson, Johnson, Colback and to some extent Cattermole. Sess has just started to get a bit of confidence and showed well today (although he does have tunnel vision) We don't have the players to make whole sale changes but Gardener has to come in. Give Rose a go on the left. Colback L/B. Larsson dropped out of the whole squad.(does sweet FA game after game) Johnson to grow a right foot and two up top. At this time it doesn't matter who. Saha, Wickham, even Ji. JUST PUT TWO UP TOP.

I was very surprised that Whickham wasn't in the squad today, and the fact is that we did create chances today, so why not give the lad a go when he has been scoring consistantly for the reserves, young England etc..He might just have finished a couple of those chances off..

Dead right. WB GK was useless. Made 4/5 errors and went unpunished. Mig made one and they score. Give Long all the credit in the world for following up. Where were our players for the tap ins. fooking no where.

Thought I saw him warming up in the first 20 mins then realised he wasn't on the bench at all? Gutted.

Like I have said before no one is above reproach, whoever they are if they are getting paid by my club.
I wanted MON but he is getting his tactics wrong big time.
I saw some great attacking displays by Villa when he was there against the top teams.
Clarke said at the end he was expecting his team to have to play on the break.
And was surprised they were on top first half.

We made a very average looking team look as though they deserved to be 3rd in the Prem.
A bit more decisiveness and they were there for the taking.
If I was manager and saw how bad their keeper was, I would have immediately stuck on another striker.

Once again we played NOT to lose and NOT to win.
We still ****ing lost, so why not try for the win?
MON is making a rod for his own back playing this way.
