Three goals in around 7mins... And it's not over yet. Good luck Harry, he must be thinking what have I done!
I thought we played absolutely brilliant for most of the time. As soon as that equaliser came I think everyone including the team knew it was going to be over knowing how ManU are the comeback kings. Anton Ferdinand is one lazy arse too.
Typical Manu. Clinical and self belief is a notch above. We all new Manu would turn it around..Anton is fuuuccckiing ****!
Exactly. And did anyone, including Harry, think we were going to win this? If I told anyone that we'd lead for a long time at Old Trafford, I'd get laughed at.
Season starts Tuesday anyway.....this was a formality and another positive is Harry gets to see how awful Ferdinand is and hopefully will never play again!
Was all good until Anton came on. He is lazy, loses focus and is just not good enough. Oh well - it's not that we expected such a good performance. The commentator on sentana said - Hughes should have played Derry much more as he played such a pivotal role today - no S>>>> sherlock!
Thought we played some great football at times, Mackie was outstanding, Cisse was **** again, Taraabt was greedy and never looks up once he has the goal in sight and needed to be taken off. Calamity defending at set pieces again and again. Good luck Harry you might just do it. Top striker required in Jan along with CB (no **** Sherlock). Utterly pissed off with Cisse´s attitude. Get rid of all the rotten eggs!!! Never expected a result at OT but we played with character and desire for 83 mins.
Also ..... Could easily have been 2 - 0 - mackie in space and unmarked within 5 mins of his goal - cisse takes a shot instead of passing - selfish - could have cost us the game with that decision
It's the Lampards and the Redknapps, Col, but then again these east enders have a small gene pool and are all related to the Krays. I thought Cisse was better today, though I don't trust the evidence from live streams very much. He was let down by Mackie not passing quickly enough a couple of times and returned the compliment with that great chance to go 2 up. Clearly they have to work on their understanding if they are going to be a front 2.
Lampards & Redknapps Off the wiki:- Harry Redknapp is married to Sandra and they have two sons Jamie Redknapp, a now-retired footballer, and Mark, who is a model. Jamie made his professional debut under his father at AFC Bournemouth in 1990 before moving on to Liverpool and later Tottenham Hotspur and finally Southampton before retiring in 2005. His nephew is Chelsea and England midfielder Frank Lampard Junior whose parents are Sandra's late twin sister, Patricia, and Harry's former teammate and managerial assistant Frank Lampard Senior. Les Ferdinand is the cousin of current Premier League players Rio and Anton Ferdinand and his son Aaron currently plays for Harrow Borough in the Isthmian League. Popularly nicknamed Sir Les, he was made an MBE in the 2005 Queen's Birthday Honours. He is a qualified helicopter pilot and owns at least one helicopter, which he regularly uses. (perhaps if he joins 'Arry, he can shuttle him back & forth to Sandbanks?) Rio Ferdinand enjoyed physical expression, taking part in not just football and gymnastics classes but drama, theatre and ballet too. He was an able child: he represented Southwark in gymnastics at the London Youth Games, by age 10 he had been invited to train at the Queens Park Rangers academy, and at age 11 he won a scholarship to attend the Central School of Ballet in London. He avidly attended the ballet classes, travelling to the city centre four days a week for four years. However, while the lessons surely improved his balance, it was professional football that he desired. (proper little Billy Elliot in his youth).
