Well we got exactly what we deserved today. W/Brom gave us a lesson in how to pass the ball, and finish. At times it looked like men against boys. We conceded 4 but to be totally honest it could just as easily been 6 or 7. Mon will have his work cut out before the game against QPR on Teusday.

After everything I've seen the first part of the season we are in a relegation battle. We were absolutely awful again today

Another frigging humilation, Short is sitting there watching that and has not got a clue, yet another two home games where we are not going to win, and O Niel should relise you cannot play Colback and Cattermole in the same team, and they produce nowt between them going forward. this team has gone backwards in three seasons. The defence is still ****, if we go down we a finished this time, as they have had chance after chance after chance and kept blowing it. I think we all know what is coming next week against QPR, they have not won all season etc are rubbish like villa. How the hell can teams like WBA who have been in the championship recently come he and do that?. I think it is time for Ancellotti, or Benetez to come here next year before it is too late.

Bit unfair on West Brom that. They've been solid for the last three seasons. 10th and 11th two seasons on the trot since coming up, now 3rd. West Brom look a top side at present. They've beaten Chelsea recently and dominated most teams this season. Obviously you're at home but they have the better squad and confidence.

Yep im sure we could prise ancellotti from billionaire Psg and champions league football.

Gera's goal was class and their second was an individual error, how is that the managers fault? West Brom are flying. We battled hard got two goals and although i haven't seen a replay I've heard it wasn't a penalty. The fourth was a result of us pushing men forward

We had more possession, more efforts on goal, more shots on target and more corners than West Brom..West Brom had the rub of the green and benefited from some very iffy decisions from the ref..It is a game which we could easily have won on the balance of play, so I can't really understand the OP.

Hope a few of you lads noticed how effective Morrison is for WBA, he actually had a quiet game but I saw only one misplaced pass.

That's all we need really, WBA are a very, very good side, there's an argument that all 4 of their goals should have been avoided, certainly 3.

I missed the match due to illness so watched on Sky, first home game missed whilst on UK soil in 5 years or so, but can I applaud the fans who were present , the first time Mig got the ball after the error, there was an healthy round of applause as he shaped to kick clear, that was a class touch from the fans for a player who is so far in credit this season a hat-trick of own goals would be forgiveable.

Thats as maybe, but the fact remains we gave the ball away far to often, no matter which way you paint it. When you constantly do that coupled with some shoddy defending then the chances are you will lose more matches than you'll win. Last weeks result gave us a big boost which we promptly threw away today.
