I know we have linked up with a Korean buisness regarding sponsorship. But how long be fore some rich Korean, wants to invest in the club itself. Personally i can see it coming. But, i dont want it. Wonder how people would feel about the possibility.
Can't see a problem with investment, but I can't see our board allowing any foreign owners to take control
I have spoken about this many times, and have warned all Jacks that it is only a matter of time!................. Hell Norway 1000 shirts a week! do you know they are £45.00 each x 1000 = £45,000.00 per week x 52 = £2,34000.00 Aprox. 2.4 Million.......Now that's good business for one player! Need Shechter on the pitch more, The Jews have plenty of dosh!...........
Im guessing it wont be 1000 shirts a week all year though Dragon, and im guessing it includes leisure wear and things like that. Cwmdu is where they are supposed to be setting up a base to cope with demand, it should pay Ki's wages though which is great having someone like him play for free..
DPJ I can see it happening there are some massive companies in Korea with mega bucks. As long as we vet any potential suitors with a fine toothcomb. There have been some superb investors in the game over here. Then again there have been some awful ones as well. Venkies and a certain team that plays in red.
Id welcome any big investment and i would build a new purpose state of the art 30+k stadium for just the swans and indoor sports like basketball, hockey etc, I would have a 200 room hotel on site with outdoor tennis courts and astro football pitches....I can dream i suppose...
It's what I worry about, most are vultures, but get the right one, and sky's the limit!...................
Invest by all means, but I wouldn't want to be owned by them. That luxury belongs to huw, the board and the fans.
Yes and don't forget the food outlets I mean the sponsorship money say for instance McDonalds or Kentucky Fried Chicken, we could easily adapt a song for money, lets see... oh yeah Swansea oh Swansea City Said I, I'll stand here on the north bank untill the day I die, Take me to the Liberty, Just by KFC And I will follow Swansea, Swansea City! Has got too be worth a couple of Mill ( and a few bargain bucketts chucked in ) any day.
