Very disappointing so far. But who knows, if he's now got this court case behind him and starts scoring, then perhaps he can turn both his and our season around. It would help if MM plays him up front for once.
apparently MM said riordan prefers to play LW so he plays him there! i would prefer him to stop travellingback and forth to scotland like he been doing as that cant be good!
I couldn't give a monkeys where he wants to play! He's a striker and should be played as such - the guy's got a great goalscoring record at a higher level and he's 29 so should be pretty much at the peak of his powers. I couldn't believe it when we landed him and that's what's made his failure so far, so disappointing. But I'm of the same opinion as you, CJS, once he gets one I think he'll kick on from there. If that's the case, we need to tie him down to a 2 year contract and then flog him for a decent amount when bigger clubs come calling, which they will. If he doesn't, he'll be gone by Christmas. In addition, MM needs to get over an impetuous young man's Twitter comments and start to play Hunter.
i agree riordan is a striker and should play as that. 3rd ever highest top goal scorer in scotland should be sdcoring for fun which he wont do out on the wing especially without pace!
