A simple straw poll to see what Saints fans think of "Dirty Harry" taking the helm at Loftus Road.

My brain says yes but my heart says no. I have to go with my brain but it would be hilarious to see him take QPR down.

I still think they will go. Take a massive restructure and he hasn't got much time.

J have said yes, because he has come in early enough to make a difference and the gap isn't insurmountable. However, Saints had a decent side in our relegation year and he didn't manage to keep us up.

    Yes.

    Hate to say it.

And he'll be hailed as a hero again!

Wouldn't say easily. QPR will still struggle to score until January. If Redknapp prevents QPR from being cut adrift until then he will probably keep them up.

They will be out of the bottom 3 before New Year's Day and will be mid table by the end of the season.

They could easily be 7 or 8 points from safety by the end of this weekend. They do have a run of easy-looking fixtures after that but they're going to have to significantly improve on their performance against us if they are to get anything from them.

If they don't win in the next three weeks then they're going to be beyond salvation. Harry's got his work cut out.

Don't care if QPR stay up or not as long as we do.

Looks like you could rival Adkins with that kind of psychobabble mate.

Completely agree. Totally overrated by the media.

But good enough to make our survival chances less likely..

Unfortunately it's probably gonna be one or the other.

And they have just taken a massive advantage.

I really hope not, to find 3 teams to finish below us NOT including QPR is looking like a tall order. Hopefully they are cut so far adrift by the start of the January transfer window, that not even QPR's money can tempt in any decent players.

I see him keeping them up but it might be close if he doesn't get it right fairly quickly. He is in almost the exact same position as he was when he took over at Spurs, albeit that the squad he has inherited isn't as strong. Yes, he will get players in that he likes in January, and he will turn it around, not because he is a miracle worker, but because he is a half-decent manager. The difference at SFC was that the squad had been overachieving for several seasons, so their plunge into the bottom 3 was much harder to turn around. Spurs were, and QPR are, a talented squad that is under achieving and needs a bloke who knows the moves beyond the tactician's book. Harry's been around long enough to know the score.

I think you over estimate Harry's capabilities and severely under estimate Nigel's. Not that either of us are biased.
