we know Harry will bring in joe Jordan and Kevin bond but what about sir les and Clive Allen? will they be coming too or staying at spuds?
Just read that Harry thinks everything will be sorted soon and there shouldn't be any problems. Sounds like he doesn't even care about the contracts (is he doing this for free?) and just wants to get in there and do the job. Great attitude. I doubt we'll see Ferdinand or Allen.
Don't be so naive 'doesn't care about contracts'! He knows his agent has it sorted. He is on £3m a year with a bonus of £1m to stay up, 3 year contract (with this season being one of them I guess). Good for him, no problem with this if he delivers, but lets have some dignity we are not a charity case, and he is an employee, not a benefactor.
The point of my comment was not the bloody contract or terms or whatever you think he's on but the fact that he's keen to get stuck in.
The offish said an announcement on backroom teams will be made soon so obviously a new one is coming in but the old one is hanging on for a payoff.
I know hed be on a hiding to nothing if he took it but it would be hard for any bloke to turn down the national manager job. arry wanted the England job and thats a poisoned chalice too.
Would be great to have on our coaching team probably 2 of our best strikers in my time following QPR in Sir Les and Clive Allen. I bet they both probably could do a job on the pitch if they got themselves fit.
Hugely unfair we have no idea what the deal is with Bowen and co. Somone has to look after the bloody team today. Jeez you've got what you want but its still not enough to stop the venom spewing forth.
how on earth do you know he is on 3 mil a year with a further bonus of £1mil ? Has this been made public, if so may I see?
Venom? Its the truth, theyve followed him everywhere and leave when he does. Why else would they be here? The club has said there will be a statement on them shortly so its clear arry doesnt want them.
Bowen and Co will be going. I heard Harry say as much on the radio (said they are very much Mark Hughes' men so it's difficult [implied - to keep them] in these circumstances). I think they're doing the right thing by the team today though, to be fair.
