Two things need to happen. The board need to provide the resources to get a team that can compete. The team then actually has to do the work and compete. There are many factors in getting that team to perform, the majority of which are psychological. If the fans don't believe it's possible, that message, no matter how subtle, will transfer from the crowd to the players on the pitch and their performance will suffer. They'll under perform for "unknown" reasons. This is what I am talking about. Thank you for being rational when I failed to be. There's a slight chance I mixed up your messages with the boring hull fans that seem to have infested our board.

    <laugh> Is okay Marko <ok>

We have a certain amount of belief at present but we also have a "is this really happening" trait at the moment. If we can stay where we are for a couple more years that may change, I don't really know. We have never been that expectant in years gone by. Survival in the PL is success for us these days and I meant no disrespect when I said the same level of success would be an achievement for Leeds if/when they return to the PL. Anything beyond that would be immense as teams just don't come up and take on the big boys consistently anymore.

It'll take maybe 3 years before we're challenging for Europa League, or that's what I'd expect. Certain clubs just feel more comfortable in the PL, as shown by Newcastle's return to the top. It took them two seasons to get a place in Europe. This is the benchmark I use for Leeds.

    Comedy gold.

I'd say current villa would be a more apt benchmark for you

A good number of QPR fans were expecting that to happen for them last season, and again this season <laugh>

I'd say current Bradford City is a good benchmark for you. Nobody gives a **** what you think so do one.

Marco - you have a big job ahead just to stay up this season - 3 years and you will still be a Championship team unless the new owners win the lottery - they are buying Leeds for £17M but are paying it in installments - why is nobody questioning why?

Millwall are haemo...heamora...haema...losing money year after year and Berylson (paydayUSA) is lending you 8.5 mill, at a very high interest rate, i think you should ask a few questions TC

You don't know much about the Surrey Canal Triangle regeneration scheme do you OLOF <ok>

Especially section 106 of the agreement that has been agreed now - Once we have paid JB back the £20M we will only have £80M left <yikes>

Oh - That's just for the land we own around the Den btw - on top of that £800M will be/is being spent on the "London Sporting Village"

Well know on February 1sr if they have money or not. If squad has been substantially improved, they have money, otherwise no. Pointless guessing for next eight weeks what money they have. Theyd be daft to tell anyone, inflated players fees and wages etc. Personally am more than happy to wait and see what goes on in January

    1. It's GFH Capital who have bought us, not GFH. Related companies but still separate.

    2. If cuddly Ken is correct, and why wouldn't he be, in saying that they have a very wealthy individual backer I don't think it particularly matters.

I saw it described elsewhere as us having changed from it will all end in tears with Bates to it could all end in tears with GFHC. I'm happy to take the latter.
