Believe it or not but you really don't need to make a comment on here all the time & what we say really doesn't need to be justified to esteemed visitors such as your self.
The question was asked what has it to do with Rodgers , The current Swansea Manager didn't feel the need to question HIS player so why should Rodgers

What concerns me is is why Rodgers is able or allowed to speak to Williams on the week of the game. Doesnt sound right to me. He shouldnt be able to have any contact with our squad.

Believe it or not, this is a very small part of the internet. You don't own it. There are no 'visitors'. You may view this as 'your' space but it only is in effect.

Let's think... he was most probably asked a question by a journalist. How dare he answer a question about an ex-player talking like a thug about his current best player. I mean really, the cheek.

I imagine that sort of thing goes on all the time without us hearing about it. Interesting. Suppose we forget they are human beings who talk to each other!

Indeed. Do you know someone I might?

Couldn't justify the fees to move abroad, knew I wouldn't get into Oxbridge and I didn't see the point going somewhere else (like Durham say)! Queen's is pretty good though.

Really, if a question is posed to Rodgers in an interview, he's allowed to answer it. Even if he wasn't the current manager of one of the players involved, he might be able to offer an insight into Ash's position. The fact that it wasn't a comment that stirred it up, instead calming it down, felt responsible rather than anything else.

It felt, in the situation, that Rodgers had to say something and what he did say was perfectly reasonable.

Ash's comments are off - but I always think, what if it were the other way around? If Suarez had said it about Ash then I would have said "idiot" and pointed out he was just trying to win a mental battle, then shrugged and got bored by the whole thing. Prob cheered when Suarez missed a shot and booed when he got a touch. But considering bans? Or action? I would have thought that a strong word from manager/FA to be more sensible and that would be it...

It is true that Suarez gets lambasted for a dive where people don't care over Liam ridgewell's dive, so there is talk of consistency, but that is brought on himself to a degree and if he weathers the storm, goes a good time with good behaviour, then the attitude would change. Liverpool's vitriolic defence of him only makes people take a stronger stance. Klinnsman undid the accusations of diving with good humour and it would be best for him for him to work on his PR a bit.

The prob with what Ash said was not the accusation of diving (because if you fined or suspended everyone who said that, then it would get a bit crazy) but it was more about the violence in the language. Don't get me wrong, I'm not concerned about that, but it is his choice of language that is the only part that muddies the water a bit. A player can call a player a diver, rubbish, lazy, selfish etc etc etc whatever they want - football should be about opinions - but, from a certain perspective, saying that he wanted to knock a player out might be considered inflammatory and a little irresponsible.

Still, like I say, does it really matter? Ash has invited the boos from the away fans and might have egg on his face if the game goes a certain way... why put pressure on yourself? It is also worth noting that, like Joey Barton, Suarez is one of those players that feeds off booing, so I would have focused more on saying that he's a good player or nothing at all. They already have motivation to repay for knocking them out of the cup - why add to it?

It's not as big as Brendans dossier that he wrote to get a squad costing well over £150million to draw with little old Swansea.

You're acting daft now PGF, if you'd have sneaked the win you'd be telling us how brilliant little old Swansea(your words not mine)were against us but because we never won you're using the small club bs.
There are no longer any 'little' teams in the English top flight, to be in the Premier League makes a club big.

It's time you Swans let go of Rodgers coat-tails forever and concentrated solely on your club and your manager, it shows your small minded mentality when since he became our manager until today you lads are still droning on about him every day and scrutinise every game we play, the signings we make etc.

Just let go and move onward.<ok>

We're on going on about him because the comedy show is entertaining. I really believe we have moved on and progressed as a result of Rodgers departure.
Excuse us for appreciating that we are just little old Swansea and find it quite something that a club with Liverpool's history has resorted to being in mid table competition with us.
I would say that your lot are more obsessed with us than we are of you as a lot of you are part of the furniture on our board these days
