delighted with the appointment unsure about the length of contract.. would of liking to see a rafa type 7 month contract and see how we are then. will harry want to manage us if we go down. is there an agreement that if we go down he walks or do we need to pay yet another manager off... other than that very happy now which way is it to the pub... 1 point would be great today but i think the fight starts at 4 45..
"" EXCLUSIVE: REDKNAPP APPOINTED PUBLISHED 10:54 24th November 2012 by @OfficialQPR Harry pens two-and-a-half year deal ... I can’t wait to get to work and get the results necessary to kick-start our season" Harry Redknapp QUEENS Park Rangers Football Club is delighted to confirm the appointment of Harry Redknapp as the club’s new manager. The 65 year-old has signed a two-and-a-half year contract at Loftus Road and will watch his new team from the stands when the R’s take on Manchester United at Old Trafford this afternoon. Speaking exclusively to www.qpr.co.uk, Redknapp said: “I’m delighted to be back in the managerial hot-seat at QPR. “When I spoke to the Shareholders and they told me about their plans I knew this was too good an opportunity to turn down. “There’s no doubt there’s a lot of ability in the squad, but for one reason or another things haven’t gone as well as everyone expected since the start of the season. “I can’t wait to get to work and get the results necessary to kick-start our season.” Redknapp’s arrival in W12 represents a significant coup for the club. Widely-regarded as one of the best English managers in the business, Redknapp’s track record at the highest level speaks for itself. "" Great News!
Great to see this done and dusted today. The players might just respond! Also good to see Kamarudin Bin Meranun commented on the offish. You don't hear from him often but his $.5 billion wealth is reassuring.
Best news I've had since they sacked that useless twat Hughes. Onwards and upwards. U Rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Listening to HR on SSN. Keeps saying that the players must start performing. That's what I want to hear. Spot on. Says Barton wont be back. Wants performances. Wants the players to take responsibility. The buck stops with them. Players not performing.
Contrast that to what MH said after each game and you know why he's been sacked. A bit surprised by the length of the contract and is it me or does the statement from TF sound a lot like the way he released when MH was appointed??? Hope this pans out differently. Anyone know the reasons why he couldn't keep the saints up?
Good afternoon gents. Just want to congratulate you on a superb appointment. I've always liked Redknapp and I think you have just ensured survival. Good luck for the rest of the season except against us.
You have plenty of time and I think you will be out of the bottom 3 by The end of the year and mid table b the end of the season.
