Helguson was 34, had MH bought wisely we could of replaced him easily, instead he brought in journeymen he worked with before. Oh well we move on

Hoping to get down for the Villa match, all hinges on mother-in-law looking after the kids, so not making any rash assumptions, but hope to be there, with a bit more optimism!

 

eh? he was under contract and he was sold after being forced to train with the kids. How is that HHs fault?

 

from what i remember Heidar was offered, but refused, a new 1 yr contract extension because he didn't want to warm the bench at this stage in his career, so they sold him. Don't think he was made to train with the kids (could be wrong) like Hulse et al. That's what i remember. Anyway, it was only a tongue in cheek comment rather than a statement of fact!

 

Apparently a well known first team player opts to eat in his car than with his teammates.

actually now i think of it, maybe he already had the contract but wasn't interested in been warming under Hughes so took the cardiff move when it came up.

 

First the spotlight was on the manager. Hughes was underperforming.

Then it was on the owner, to do the right thing by the club and replace the manager.

Now the spotlight falls on the players, or at least, on certain of them. Fans will be watching carefully (as carefully as Harry) which of them has the necessary desire and motivation to be in our team and wear the hooped shirt with pride, and which are mercenaries which should be shipped out in January.

A bloke at work eats lunch every day in his car (on his own) but when in the office he is the best 'team player'. I wouldn't read too much into that as everyone has their own habits. I would also remember that it come from the 'Mirror' one of the papers that said we were getting a 15 point deduction and signing Beckham?

 

How could they sell him if he didnt have a contract? They run out in the 1st June. He said he was made to train with the outcasts and a lot of us didnt like the way he was treated.
