Typical Rodney, call a spade a shovel!... http://www.talksport.co.uk/sports-n...arry-redknapp-charge-says-rodney-marsh-186029
I dont want to sound like a broken record but his old signings (Cesar apart) were crap, his young ones still have the potential to be great under a different manager. However he does talk bollocks, earlier this week he was saying give Hughes 4 more games.
In fairness to Hughes he didn't sign SWP. He did however keep picking him for far too long before he saw the light.
Then dropped him and we won 5 home games on the trot, then proceeded to play him for another bunch of games this season hoping things would be different.
Of course, but Boswinga, Cisse, Zamora, Johnson, Green etc have been pants. The younger players like Granero, Hoilett and Diakite showed something.
He wasnt the reason for us staying up, dont forget he got sent off twice costing us both time and hes been pants this season.
I'd add Mbia to the list who have "showed something": he looks like he's got a lot of potential for the short time he's been on the pitch.
Even so, that late goal against Stoke was pure gold. I certainly wouldn't give up on Cisse. I think he can get his form back under a good manager.
I think he could turn it around but he hasnt convinced me that he cares too much, hes not a write off like the others, hes undecided for me. It was a great moment but he cant be arsed this season like so many others.
