    This.^

    spurs fan in peace.

If there's anyone who is suited to getting you out of your current predicament right now, it's Arry.

You have some very good players, which just goes to show how bad Mark Hughes really is/was. You are in the fortunate position to have ex Real Madrid, Chelsea, Man united and Inter players, of which none of those players are "past it". What may seem like a huge challenge, is certainly very possible.

In Jan you'll get just what you need; reliable, experienced players to add strength.

We were in a right mess before Arry took over. there was no depth in a lot of positions. correct me if i'm wrong, but you guys don't appear to have that problem as Hughes signed justabout everyone. <laugh>

There's plenty of time yet. If it is Arry and he gets underway quickly, I can see you finishing as high as midtable. You're only 10 points behind Newcastle. All it takes is a run of games. - The confidence that harry will install will give you just that. <ok>

Good optimistic post, Roo. Actually, we are in the same position as Spurs when Harry took over. Strikers and good defenders are thin on the ground. Midfield and keepers are catered for. Sounds like Harry will get a 3 year deal. I thought he did well for you.

It is a big ask, Hughes should have been sacked after the WHU game (or maybe even just before the kick off!!!, absolutely clueless selection and formation!!) - I watched that dross live last Saturday and ended up discussing with my bro´ how well Soton played and how they played for their manager, I mentioned a while back that Hughes had lost the dressing room but I´m not here to gloat, the manager has a huge job on his hands but the talent is definitely there and if ´Arry can´t get them motivated then all that´s left is cattle-prodding!!!.

U rrrrrrr´s - what about a result tomorrow then??? - yeh, yeh, ok one miracle at a time!!!!

    Hi GH <ok>

you've actually got more points! <laugh> (but from more games <whistle>)

I'll put money on you coming back in for Michael Dawson on loan. - and i'll be gutted if we let him go. But he's just the sort of player you need.

I don't think it's possible due to the rules, but if you could take Dempsey and Sigurdsson off our hands too, that'd be great! <laugh> LOL, bit harsh, but they've not really clicked for us yet!

You'll see Arry get the best out of the likes of Park and Granero. The concern is that you probably wont hold on to Granero if he does!

just can't believe he hasn't taken over already. The Ukraine talk was utter bullshit, just to get the best deal out of this inevitable QPR job. you should have been done with Hughes well... ages ago, But leaving it till today when you've got united at the weekend is bloody daft. Perfect game to get Harry in the dugout and a new sense of belief in the players. who knows what sort of upset might have been caused?

Our chances of staying up improved dramatically at about 11:00am this morning. It is well documented that I thought Hughes was a mistake from day one. However, I am not posting to say 'I told you so', but I saw this coming ages ago. I think we can stay up, we have the players who on their day can put a shift in. Survival largely depends on who comes in as manager. If we go down, at least we will go down fighting. U Rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrs!!!

Completely agree with this...ball should of been rolling at the start of the week, giving enough time to get Harry in before the weekend. Looks like he is actually joining though, so wont complain too much ;)

    This.

No matter how good our next manager is, don't expect miracles. It's going to be a long hard run..... but the likelihood is it'll be a positive one.

I really like Redknapp though, as a manager and as a person. I trust him to do well. I think everyone here does.

Our rejuvenated heroes will. This is a group of players who, we know can perform, we've seen it. We haven't seen it for 90 successive minutes and we haven't seen it earn us 3 points, but I really think we will. 7 was tongue in cheek, of course, but I expect a positive reaction tomorrow.

Arry will definately make us better, but is it enough? Sparky got only 0,3333 points per match so it is not the most difficult task to better that. The problem is , that could arry make a TEAM out of a bunch of undisciplined individuals? It's massive mountain to climb but possible. I give it a 40/60 chance for survival.

I kind of agree with this, but more like 33/66 chance until the dust settles.

I'm feeling a lot more optimistic but it's still a long-shot to stay up. Those quoting Everton staying up from the same start should remember that was a 42 game season and Wimbledon gave them late three goals in the final game.

If we do go down I'm much more confident Harry will bring us straight back up, that's the big difference now...
