ahh fair enough. well I hope they stay in all the way to the semi finals and get knocked out If they end up going into europa, I'd be very surprised if they take it seriously, which means less games for them.
If the Chavs go out of the CL, Coco is going to have to put all of his efforts into making sure Chavs get top 4, if he is to stand any chance that Mad Dog will extend his contract.
what an awful day for football today. First the attack on the spurs fans in Rome, and now Porto's commercial director has committed suicide by shooting himself inside the stadium!
well, no surprises... QPR have sacked Hughes! hmmm... I wonder who will take over Can't be harry, he's clearly going to the Ukraine
more concerning, we could see Harry Redknapp deja vu all over again. 4 points from 12 games. it's a bigger challenge, but Harry will do it. Then we'll be seeing the "you mugs, why did you get rid of Harry" comments.
Redknapp will do a good job with QPR. He's got all the players that he needs there already and he'll have no problem turning it round, in my opinion. I expect Granero to have a very good 2nd half of the season. Ferguson probably dislikes Benitez because of his attempted mind games, Spurf. They blew up in the Spaniard's face, but he pointed out some rather unfortunate home truths for Utd in the process.
Should stop him going on about 2 points from 8 games. Turning it around after 4 points from 12 games would be more impressive.
He's the perfect choice for the job. I posted that Hughes was neither a Fulham nor a QPR manager and would be better suited at Aston Villa or somewhere like that. Arry would keep Rangers up but not much more.
I wish I could see Taarabts face!, and it'll be interesting to see what Harry does with him, never rated him here, couldn't wait to get rid.
I think Redknapp will stick Taarabt into the van der Vaart role, Notso. He likes to have one of those unpredictable, flair players in the side. 4-4-1-1 with a midfield of Hoilett, Granero, Diakite and Park, with Taarabt behind Cisse, I'd have thought. Would've picked Zamora though, if he wasn't injured.
Hopefully he'll do us a favour and take someone like Huddlestone or Gallas off us in January. He does like to take a few players from his old club with him afterall.
QPR got caught up in the aftershock of the firing - sort of like how three people walking past WHL found themselves sacked when Levy wielded the axe on Ramos et al.
