His mind games have been going on so long, you'd have to be a ****** to even think of answering them!

Maybe he should do less mind games and more managing. The last time he tried to be a clever dick towards Fergie with his little piece of paper in hand it backfired spectacularly.

    Results from Feb that season:

    Chelsea 2-0 W
    Portsmouth 3-2 W
    Man City 1-1 D
    Real Madrid 1-0 W
    Boro 0-2 L
    Sunderland 2-0 W
    Real Madrid 4-0 W
    Man Utd 4-1 W
    Villa 5-0 W
    Fulham 1-0 W
    Chelsea 1-3 L
    Arsenal 4-4 D
    Hull 3-1 W
    Newcastle 3-0 W
    West Ham 3-0 W
    West Brom 2-0 W
    Spurs 3-1 W

Another common misconception that the 'rant' completely derailed us.

That rant was in early Jan. You conveniently left out the 3 results following that mammoth **** up interview.

Drew all 3 games. Rest is history. Rafa won't try it on again with Sir Fergie, he knows what happens <ok>

Yes but you're ignoring the point. We drew 3 games but went on one of our best runs in history, winning 3 points in most games and scoring loads of goals in the process.

Would we have done better without the rant? Who knows? One thing is for sure - it certainly pumped us for the second half the season.

  13. One does get the impression that Fergie considers Benitez to be a bit of a clown.

Sometimes, when Fergie has a pop at other managers (eg Whinger), it's done with a huge scoop of respect. Not so with Coco, though.

Fergie seems to be genuinely perplexed that Coco has been given another chance at a big club.

Shouldn't you be worrying about your own clown? By your own admission too...

why does everyone always completely leave out the fact that Gerrard had just been arrested and was concerned about the trial

And that we had been in poorish form for a couple of months after Carra gifted Spurs a late victory

The effect of the speech about Mr Ferguson had absolutely no effect on anything. In that regard Rafa failed. Our form stayed the same and he was looking for a boost.

Regardless of what happened back then we all know and have known for years that refs favour Manure. It's a fact.

    <ok>

as long as Fergie talks about any manager - he is worried as hell, FACT !!

Fergie didn't say anything about AvB or RDM.. Step-in Rafa and that sends a chill across red face.. that itself is HUGE for Rafa and Chelsea!!

But Rafa made a tit of himself in the process and the Fakht rant was the start of his terminal decline and also the start of Liverpool's.
