QPR have some very good players I think Harry would be a good choice. You almost always get a short term lift out of Harry. He's several steps down from Rafa in managerial class, but sometimes you just need to look at the short term especially with a relegation prospect looming. Harry is the crack cocaine of managers. Feels great at first but a bad long term proposal.
Not necessarily so. They are chalk and cheese. Anyway, you Mousers say that Coco over-achieved with 'Pool, well Harry over-achieved with us, getting us 4th, 5th, & 4th in consecutive seasons, and spending far less money than Coco spent, and with us paying about half the wages. I'd say that Harry's achievements - given the time that he was allotted with us - were equally as impressive as those of Coco, given the time he had at 'Pool.
If I was a QPR fan i'd be more worried about the ass raping their team will get this weekend. I'm going for 5-0 hammering
Its a good job Arry cant read or write or he might take great offence to what has been written on here!
What has Redknapp won then? We made it to two champions League finals and we won the FA cup, can Harry trump that?
Indeed, it isn't impossible. If anyone can help you revive your EPL fortunes, everyone will agree that Harry is your man.
see Harry Redknapp at Spurs then In an easier league, with a much more expensive squad, much, much worse results. His crowning achievement was 70 points and he won a couple of group CL matches.
Inevitably Liverpool fans will start banging on about their Mickey Mouse achievements and all their crappy little pots and pans that they've amassed over the last 20-odd years. But when it comes down to the real bread and butter stuff, IE the English Premier League, they've been worse than farcical. And Benitez has played his part in that sorry story. Chelsea are welcome to him.
you asked what underachieving looked like and I showed you. Harry got the results of a team costing 30mil less than Rafa's yet his side was assembled for significantly more. no need to get upset about it.
Couldn't disagree more. Redknapp took over a side bottom of the table with 2 points from 8 games (not too unlike QPR's position) and within a year had them in the Ch Lge and got a top 4 again last year. Its far better than Benitez did. Wenger is right. A top 4 finish every season is better than winning the odd Lge Cup. How's that great Cup looking in your cabinet at Anfield?
