All this taking off of shirts is hurting our ranking in the fair play league big time! Only blotch on us. 'Unsportsmanlike'.
Englands left back situation is very solid, but Clyne clearly showed that he can play there too- it is that kind of flexability that can get you into the squad, like Jones or going back to Neville Jnr
I bet Liverpool would love to get their hands on Luke Shaw. They had Stuart Downing playing at left back last night! Mind you, they had Jordan Henderson at right back. And we think we have problems!
Shirts coming off apart from being lovely for the girls means that we have got a goal so can only be a good thing. However, is a silly yellow card to get.
They should scrap that rule. If they run to the opposition fans fare enough but otherwise its just natural exuberance and passion!
Particularly silly for defenders like Jose and Nathaniel! I think the rule is daft to be honest. There should be three main rules (with a few more technical ones thrown in between) in my view, 1: No entering the stands (High-fiving fans or giving them a quick hug doesn't count) 2: No inciting/taunting of opposition fans or players 3: Once the referee tells you to get back and get on with the game, you do so promptly. Booking players for taking off their shirts or celebrating with their fans is just pathetic anti-fun brigade nonsense. Some people would make smiling after scoring a goal illegal, no celebrating and instead you have to sign legal forms to ratify the goal. Then after the game all the forms from goals, fouls, tackles etc., would be gathered, then a committee would be appointed to decide the outcome of the game and publish a report approximately 2-3 weeks later. And then obviously the losing team would have the right to appeal.
Haha that would an interesting spin. Reminds me of this:
