Great. I loved the old Adidas kits in the eighties and nineties. Some of the Nike ones have been pretty bland.
This is exactly the kind of game we lose in recent seasons, against teams on awful runs of form. Especially after a champs league game.
My favourites were the Bukta kits of the 60's Joking apart Adidas kits were always better than Nike ones except for that abortion of an away kit in the early 90's
The Twittersphere is full of rumours that we'll be doubling the value of our sponsorship deal with Emirates to £20 million p.a.
If that is true then between that and the figures quoted for the adidas deal we would receive an extra 25 million pounds a year, if my figures are correct, pretty good deal IMO.
I'd go with our strongest team, we aren't really in any position to rest players i don't think. And i know that everton have had a great start to the season but i think we are giving them a bit too much respect if we rest players specifically for that game, most of the team will not play at bradford anyway. I know we are away to everton and yes it will be a tough game but i wouldn't rest any players for one league match over another, it's 3 points and its in the winter period we need to take as many points as we can and villa away is no easy game either, they played very well against man utd.
Totally agree League games are the most important as far as I'm concerned. There's no way we should be going to Villa Park thinking we can rest players. We need to get the 3pts
Krome is right when he says this is a classic game where Arsenal usually falter. Villa have been performing better recently and with Bent back in the team, they'll be boosted. We need to start on the front-foot and with intent, not lethargic like we were against Montpellier otherwise we'll make the game even harder for ourselves. I just hope the NLD result doesn't make our players complacent.
Sunderland are just **** beyond belief. And to think some Gooners wanted Martin O'Neill to replace Wenger...
West brom remind me of Villa a few years ago and Newcastle at the start of last season, everything just seems to be going their way
Lukaku scores a penalty, WBA have won this game now, and ironically, he's put WBA above Chelsea, who he's on loan from.
