Me neither but I suspect the CofE hierarchy is populated by the sort of men who didn't want to allow women into the MCC, various golf clubs or the Masons. I'd imagine that a lot of them who said no are also concerned that women will add to the competition when they apply for posts as bishops...... I don't really see this as being a religious issue but rather the typical self serving behaviour of the landed gentry
