Begovic on the move?

It seems that Shawx isn't the only player being looked at by bigger clubs! Allegedly both Liverpool and United are both looking at our No1 keeper! Thoughts?

 

Don't want him going anywhere, didn't Chelsea try for him a while back?

 

I don't think we should let him go. In the short term we'd do well if we got a decent price, Sorensen can still do a good job, but we'd need another replacement in a couple of seasons, and 'Keepers as good as Asmir and Tommy can be hard to come by!

 

Think he's quite good. Not sure we'd want him - we'd want a keeper in the Reina/Valdes mold - good with the feet and quick of mind and foot.

 

I think he is very good shot stopper(without him we would have conceded another 4 or 5 at United and West Ham) everything else could be coached into him!

 

If we had one with good feet and a quick mind he'd bugger off somewhere else!!

 

Good point. What age is he? Mid-twenties?

Begovic is a confidence player. Some of his long range saves are out of this world, yet at close range he seems to flap. Wouldn't want to sell him all the same as I think he has the potential to be a top keeper!

 

He has just turned 25!

 

I guess you could have him another couple of seasons before he moves, if he does, and still get a good fee.

 

If he had those attributes he wouldn't sign in the first place
