It might not be a popular view, but I enjoyed the contributions of mitch and bushey. May have disagreed with them many times, but you cannot fault their passion for WFC..whilst a couple of other people I will not miss if they get lost in the ether!

I used to enjoy reading what Mitch had to say, he was very involved but his mind was warped by Football Manager.

Mitch changed a great deal. His last postings were well thought out and good to read. Shame he disappeared before 606 had even gone.

OFH I've sort of given up on the BBC website since the demise of 606, but that was an interesting read. MT is right, the squad will be a lot more experienced next season due to MM's careful blooding of the youngsters, my only wish would be to see only 1 or 2 quality loanees (more if injuries require of course), and then reassess the situation at xmas.

On another note, MT has been a rock since joining, replacing JDM with ease.

To my way of thinking he has been better than JDM, but then I have never thought that Jay was that good. That will make a few bristles stand up. ;)

To add to the talk of France earlier, my ex in-laws, who I still get on well with, live in the Charente Maritime and have turned the barn at their place into gites

    http://www.jonzacgites.com/

Somehow, I manage to get through more alcohol there in a few days than I do in the rest of the year here!

We need a left back Hermann Hreiðarsson has a lot of experience and because he is old might be cheap to buy, and could help the younger football players.

Cheers, Toby...we'll give it a go. We'd planned to hire bikes anyway as our gite is a little way from the sea front.

Just watched Man Utd's cruise into the Champions League final...I think Wigan or Blackpool would have given them a tougher game. How did Schalke score 5 against Inter?
