Where the sky is red. Liverpool top 6 !! What a load of bollocks I've been reading this week on our board. I'll be glad when it's over so we can talk about WBA and then Arsenal instead
not my problem dill ...deal with it yourself...you dont have to be here and you certainly dont have to read or reply....thats the way the cookie crumbles im afraid...you have a choice..
doesnt that indicate pool have gone backwards since getting in rodgers? they finished 6th and 8th under KK, and the 8th was when they were going all out for trophies. to dai, if 8th got KK sacked, what would constitute a good season for liverpool?
Dai, Liverpool have gone backwards under Rodgers. They are nowehere near as good as they were under Daglish last season. Had Liverpool possessed a striker of the quality of Van Persie, then they would have finished top 4 last season
agree totally with this, what i've been saying for ages, all liverpool needed last year was a striker of that calibre to play up front with suarez to turn those countless chances into goals.......
I agree on the striker thing, but it's much the same this season. We look less likely to lose now than we did last year, and last year we still had Lucas at this stage (roughly).
please log in to view this image based on what? liverpool are as close as you get to a 1/2 man team, guess who signed suarez, KK. KK > BR any day of the week......
Less likely to lose - under Kenny we always looked likely to concede a bloody stupid goal or two. We did that vs City but have largely ironed the mistakes out since then. Sterling emerging under BR has given us a big boost too (as well as Wisdom, Suso etc). Allen has given us cover for Lucas we simply didn't have last year. Downing is barely playing. Little things that make you think BR has a long term plan - KK seemed like he was for the here and now. His signings set us back maybe three seasons - unless these youngsters keep progressing.
I'll tell you how far Liverpool have come! If we lose to them on Sunday, I'll be very disappointed..............
**** me. If you can't see the progress from the utter ****stain we were under Kenny last season then you are more biased and anti-Brendan than I've given you credit for. Rodger's has us playing better footy and has brought in much better players, bombing out the utter dross Dalglish bought. He has FINALLY given our really talented kids a chance when previous Managers where too scared to. I cant emphasize enough how much better we are now with Rodger's rather than Dalglish. I know you will hate reading that but it is the truth. We have an actual plan now, a philosophy, we buy players that actually FIT with what where trying to do. Were finally moving in the right direction again as we have someone at the helm who puts the work in and knows what he is doing and what he wants whereas Dalglish was tactically inept, rudderless and had no direction.
Can I remind you all as well that until Suarez and Gerrard came on at Anfield you played our reserves bar Allen, and even when those two came on there were still only 3 of them until Sterling came on. With this in mind its hardly some massive achievement beating a reserve side. You put out a much stronger team than we did. You'll be facing a much harder team and challenge on Sunday.
... I was saying that we look LESS shaky at the back now but our striking problem still exists! I'm extremely pro-Rodgers (I love the philosophy).
If you can't see the progress from the utter ****stain we were under Kenny last season then you are more biased and anti-Brendan than I've given you credit for. some are blind on here to see the truth...
Most on here don't give a f**K, I thought I had a decent sense of direction but my podgy fingers seems to have pressed the Liverpool board icon by mistake .its a pity some weren't as passionate about Swansea as they are about Liverpool
