Who's rolls? who's got a rolls to reverse and what has it got to do with the argument? Seriously though, that's bollocks. If we had a serial cheat, he would be an embarrassment on the club and I would be happy for others to speak out about him. I think most Liverpool supporters only stand by him because he's all they've got and they'd be screwed without him
I have always been a little uncomfortable with the defence - I repeatedly used a racist word to an individual but it's the word's fault, not mine. Blame the word! A human being isn't the worst thing they ever did but sometimes people have to say, "Yes that did happen. That was racist behaviour. Now he needs to clean it up and sort himself out." The behaviour was vile and should be treated as such, not excused with a "He's not really racist, they were just racist words. He was having an off day." People continue to be angry because at no point did he take responsibility for his actions and, in fact, because he's good at football everyone at Liverpool have sought to protect him.
Dilli, do you expect anything else from Dai. Anyone remember the comments by Roy Keane in his book, over deliberately injuring Haaland. Out of curiosity was he done. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...tackle-haunts-Haaland-horror-injury-2001.html
TLF, by saying he wants Ash to have a 10 game ban proves he can't be all there. Ash is a black man (not that it matters) and he doesn't like a racist cheat. I have no problem with that. All Ash has done is to say what every other rational person thinks too.
The same guy who wanted us to lose to Hereford in a pre season friendly because he wasn't happy with Brendan Rodgers appointment as our manager. You couldn't make it up really couldn't you?
SA9, NO Swans fan would want what Dai has come out with. No apology for last nights rubbish and now this. Well from now on I will not treat him as a Swans fan. He is a Liverpool fan
me i don't care who they play for. If messi was playing for us and he was as stupid as ash havs been then sorry i hope the book gets thrown at him our player or not..not my problem its his....
double standards im a proper fan i dont want any of our players to act in the way he has....sorry he has let the club down and you are endorsing it...that my boy is what is unbelievable...
Thanks. They can because the players are part of the FA umbrella I think - so they can impart internal sanctions. Liverpool should really have taken the case to court, as Chelsea did. At the end of the day the FA wanted to add teeth to their anti-racism rhetoric... and who better than Suarez to add those teeth!
We'll never know as there was no evidence. Thats the point. All Suarez admitted saying was "negro", which, in Spanish, is how you say "black". People get confused and think he called him a "negro" which he didn't as he wasn't speaking English, he was speaking Spanish so he called him Black. Calling him Black is not much better I admit, but Suarez's defence was that in Spanish culture that word and that meaning is not at all racist or taken to be racist. He calls Johnson "negro" and "negrito" everyday in training and always has done, just as Hernandez calls one of the black Utd players he is good mates with "negrito" and this was printed in Mexico and Uruguay which is why the Uruguayans were so angry at the double standards. The FAs "independent" panel had to decide whether when Suarez called Evra black whether he meant it in (he was never tried for being racist and as the charge and report makes clear. he was done for for personal abuse that included at least one reference to skin colour and/or ethnicity) an abusive way. After speaking to Suarez and then speaking to Evra, long story short, without ANY physical evidence whatsoever, the panel decided that Suarez was PROBABLY lying about the way in which he said "black" and that he meant it to be offensive, and decided Evra was PROBABLY telling the truth. Thats what the WHOLE case came down to, but no-one besides Liverpool fans and one, yes only ONE, person in the whole media (who funnily enough doesn't watch football or follow it) have bothered their arse to read the Panels official report , or their findings, fully and open-mindedly, and have been deliberately misinformed by a prejudiced and xenophobic british media, so very few people know any of this . I guarantee everyone of you reading this will be the first time you've heard this side to the story but whats funny is even though you haven't read the report of the findings and we both know you haven't, yet I have, you'll have the audacity, out of blind hatred, to tell me I'm wrong and you're right, despite you knowing **** all about any of it. They, didn't find Suarez guilty of being a racist BTW, and went out of their way to say he is definitely not a racist or to label him a "racist" (to avoid a lawsuit for defamation from Suarez which he was planning until FSG made him drop it), and Evra released an official statement also saying in no way is Suarez a racist but people believe what they want to believe despite the physical written proof that is only a few seconds away online because they don't like the guy so want to believe he is a racist to justify their hatred and resolve their jealousy. Not one of you will admit this, just as not one of you will admit that all you have read about the whole incident and the subsequent investigation and findings, is the incredibly one-sided, slanted and selective reporting of it from a xenophobic British media. What proved me right on this was that the day after the accusation when nobody knew anything, rival fans were already calling him a racist as if he was already proven guilty, and the press were also openly already calling him a racist just because they didn't like him. I'd have a lot more respect and admiration for people if they just came out and was honest and admitted they hadn't looked at both sides of the story, or hadn't read the report of the panels findings and just admitted that by the definition of what a "racist" actually is, he obviously isn't one, but they hate him, and they hate LFC so its suits them to assume and believe his guilt and then slate him because thats what they want to believe and thats what they want to do. Just admit its because you hate him, not that because, deep down, you believe he hates minorities or is in the KKK. Doing that takes guts which is why people take the easy option and just say he's a racist. If it hadn't of been the Evra thing people would of found something else negative to label and hate him about. People should just have the balls to admit it. But like Suarez himself always says; he doesn't care less what anybody thinks other than Liverpool and Uruguay supporters, so I suppose we shouldn't care either.
This proves my point. People already hated Suarez so how where they ever going to give him a fair hearing when they desperately wanted to think the worst of hm and for him to be guilty? Evra could come out and say that he made it all up tomorrow and no-one would stop calling him a racist because they don't want to. People don't hate him bcue they think he's a racist, they hate him because of who he is and use any opportunity to knock him as the comment above proves.
Was talking to a Liverpool fan in work today, yes he's actually from Merseyside too so not a plastic and his take on it is that it doesn't matter how good a player Suarez is he does cause embarrassment for the club. All that nonsense with Evra and when it's all over and done with the dull bugger rakes it all back up by not shaking his hand. Add on all the diving that goes on and the conclusion reached was that LFC should have washed their hands of him and got rid as soon as. He went on to add that Suarez isn't fit to lace the boots of people like Dalglish, Souness, Gerrard, Etc etc.
Lol, thats made him look a little stupid. WE could be ****e again for the next few years but we'll always be bigger than most other clubs in the league. To try and compare us to Swansea City in stature is layghable. Just compare our trophy cabinets. No-one in Britain has achieved what we've achieved in this game. That is why we are all here and its why football clubs exist. To win trophies, to prove your the best, to stuff the trophy cabinet full and Liverpool have done that more than anyone else in this country, and unless Utd win another 2 European Cups soon, its the way its staying. Football clubs simply exist to create history and without history you are nothing. Chelsea are proof of this. They have no history and no matter what Roman buys them, he can't buy them that and people will never see them as a truly 'great' club, especially not ouside this country. Just like Utd's dry spell, we'll be back winning things again. You only have to look at our history to see that. We always bounce back. Where too big, and our name too illustrious, not to.
This just proves me right even further. He was found guilty of abuse which included a reference to skin colour. Not being a racist. That doesn't make you a racist. The FAs lawyers made sure they worded it like this so as they didn't call him a 'racist' as Suarez could then sue. The truth doesn't hurt when it is not actually true.
If they have siad their only "investigating" he may get away with it, especially with him saying it about their favourite hate figure. If they have "charged" him or do end up charging him he's getting some form of punishment. The FA only charge people they have already decided are guilty. They have their own court that plays by their rules. Out of all the charges the FA has brought against someone, 99.8% of them have led to a guilty verdict and punishment.
