    Several months ago comments were posted on TWF's Twitter account (@TONYWARNERSFACE) suggesting that former Hull City Director of Football Operations Adam Pearson was a pen thief.

    TWF would like to make it clear that this is not the case, and that Adam Pearson's actions did not constitute those of a pen thief.

    Adam Pearson accepts that his actions of putting the pen lid on and appearing to place the pen in his pocket may have been misconstrued.

    Both parties will be making no further comment at this time.

    I have it on good authority, that TWF was in fact offered several Mont Blanc pens, but decided that he didn't need any.
