Cazorla isn't really a like for like replacement for Fabregas, they're different players, but, Cazorla has clearly filled that creative void we were lacking from the midfield after Fabregas' departure. Cazorla=Fabregas Gervinho>Nasri Jenkinson<Eboue Clichy<Santos, but Gibbs is without a doubt our number 1 LB, and I'd put him on par with Clichy, and will become a better LB than Clichy Song, we haven't really bought anyone to replace him, Arteta's taken his job RVP<Giroud and Podolski, for now, but time will tell if they can replicate RVP's form at Arsenal, and bring what he did for us.
Cazorla=Fab Gervihno(At best)>Nasri Jenkinson(On Current Form)>>Eboue Gibbs>>>>>>Clichy=Santos Judas>Giroud Judas>Podolski Giroud+Podolski>/=Judas
Can't agree with you there, Nasri is a much better player than Gerv, even if he's a petulant little French twat.
Nasri was a class player for Arsenal, but at City he's been largely ****. Stupid **** serves him right for shafting us
There does seem to be a strange twighlight zone when it comes to Arsenal fans judgement of player's worth. It really wasn't too long ago that you couldn't find an Arsenal fan that thought Walcott was better than worthless. Then all of a sudden he looks like he is going to leave and the guy becomes our best player overnight. Same thing happened with Song.
I maintain that selling Song was a good move if Wenger wasn't going to play him alongside a DM & give him license to get forward. Theo has also improved year on year - last year he was 2nd highest scorer, this year with no RvP he's top. Not surprising. He's a difference maker.
Fabregas > Carzola (more Nasri than Fab replacement, will get better with time) Nasri < Carzola Nasri > Gervinho RVP > Podolski and Giroud (At the moment) Song (no replacement) Clichy > Santos Clichy <> Gibbs Eboue > Jenkinson
It's like groundhog day...... I wonder if he'll pull an RVP and be amazing and not get injured all season.
