The fans should be really up for this after our last two matches and the return of Pardew! Feeling confident of a win and hopefully our first clean sheet!
Ba, and Cisse specifically, have struggled to match their form from last year. Ben Arfa is also very inconsistent, but can be unplayable on his day. If we can keep our shape and organisation, and control the game, there's no reason we can't beat anyone at home.
He set the bar very high last season, and he is struggling compared to last season (Although doing very well, as I say, he set himself a very high bar last season) Anyway, keep the side unchanged again (yes, keep Gazza in the side) and I think we can sneak a win, if not a draw - it's not a game I think we'll lose
I'll be interested what reception Mr P gets on his return. I hope it's a good'un as whatever the circumstances of his leaving he played his part in our revival.
Arrghghrhghhghhh. Can't go, Mrs Q's orders. Not happy. Good omens - only home game I've missed so far is Villa. So forget about your lucky pants, scarf, mother, it's definitely been my fault we haven't won any of them. In other news, Ben Arfa and Cisse both starting for Newcastle tonight.
This will be my first game this season (quite a few seasons actually) so obviously Saints are going to win by a record score, with Rickie scoring at least 20. Where's the best place to park in Southampton by the way?
