I hate to give him the benefit of the doubt but I don't imagine he was lying - rather some idiot gave him the wrong information. I donlt like Salmond one bit but he is no fool and would be only too well aware that every stat he puts out will be checked in triplicate by all his opponents..
So, it's pretty much proven beyond all doubt that the leader of the SNP is a jabbering ****wit who wouldn't recognise the truth if it shat in his porridge. But will you lot be vote "och aye the noo" to independance, and if so does Salmon puss become pope of Scotland?

It is frightening how some people act in that kind of situation. i was chairing a meeting last week and had to speak to the US delegation about something - they told me they were going to struggle to put anything on the table because Canada was refusing to talk to them. I was going to take the microphone and send both delagtions out to the car park to sit on the naughty step!
Bring back the olde days when MP's had to sit a sword's length away from each other in Parliament. And hand out swords.
