I never said that at all. I've always liked King. In the limited time he played he had a few quality shots; one flew in against Boro but another couple hit the woodwork against Southampton. I don't like the idea that just because he's fast, people want to group him with all the other young wingers with pace but nothing else. He could hit it as hard as McLean but keep it down.
As has been mentioned, I don't think there were many of us that had hopes of signing Josh King. Tickler repeatedly said it was a done deal, but he seems to have forgotten now.

like a few others on here, really not arsed about Josh King going anywhere else in the Championship, didn't think he was that great and certainly not expecting him to tear teams apart, I am more concerned about rumours that Friedel is going on loan to Blackburn, he's still one of the top 5 keepers on the Premiership, a genuine class act......step up Brucie!!!! Robinson's already one of the best though. If he isn't injured or leaving I can't see why they'd need Freidel.
