    It´s good that Fellaini
    Who´s not at all tiny
    Will be missing on Saturday,
    Without him they´re not
    Quite so sizzling hot
He´s involved in all their best play

    And up in this tier
    Any help that´s there
Is not to be sneezed at, you know,
    Although his reserve
    Could also unnerve
I´m sure for them it´s still a blow

    So if we play well
    Again who´s to tell
Just how this encounter might end,
    They´ve lost very few
    In fact only two
But we´re more than back on the mend

    Unbeaten in five
    League games, with a drive
Which starts with Ruddy at the back,
    And continues on
    Through one S. Bassong
Tettey and Wes to our attack

    And a settled team
    Which lately it´s been
Has done much to improve our form,
    I think one can say
    That the Hughton way
Is now beckoning a new dawn

    Weekdays at Colney
    There with his cronies
    C. Calderwood and one P. Trollope,
    They work as one
    And hope when it´s done
That weekends we´ll dish out a wallop

    And there´s no dispute
    That it´s bearing fruit
The work that they´re all putting in,
    We look hard to beat
    And one more clean sheet
Would be a good way to begin

    I doubt we´ll be chewed
    Once this one is viewed
    Despite it being Toffee´s place,
    A win there´s maybe
    More than we will see
But a draw would be no disgrace. OTBC

Hi RBF, I find this one very difficult to call! We've been strong in defence lately but I still worry that may not continue away from home!

I'd definitely accept a draw right now!

    Morning dave,

I think Fellaini being out could just swing things a bit more in our direction, I remember watching them against QPR I think it was, when he was also missing , and they looked pretty ordinary there. Not going to be easy being away, but we couldn´t have asked for a better preparation than last Saturday. ;)

That's true RBF, but the other side of the coin is Reading didn't do us any favours with their choice of a first league win!

Hi RBF, got a sneaky feeling we might nick this one, will be very tight but being able to field a settled team brings confidence, bit like the Man U game I think here they are the big boys we are just lil ol Norwich away from home, no pressure on our boys other than it would be good to get to 20 pts asap looking at the Xmas run is a bit scary with WBA, Chelski and Mancity.( but we beat Manure so we can beat them!)

jarold - I can see us keeping another clean sheet, but I´m not so sure about the win.

I'm going for a 1-0 to us; Holt to score another cracker.

Jarold, you mention the Christmas run, personally I'm quite glad we've got the games we do! We're playing teams that realistically we're not expecting a single point out of, so it doesn't really matter if the players go into one or two of those games a little tired. If we had QPR, Reading and Southampton over that period, we'd be looked for more than 6 points, which would make tiredness more of an issue. It'll probably mean we'll slip down the table a bit temporarily, but we'll have the games we're more likely to get points in still to come.

Very sound reasoning and looking at Citeh's defence last night (if it existed) we might sneak a goal or two as a belated Xmas present!!!!

One of the really tough one's this, even without Fellani. Last season Jelavic ripped us apart, he's a class act, but our defence is really sound now so I'm expecting a close game again, and hoping for another 1-0.

I'm a bit worried about Bassong.......how will he cope now he's had his baton confiscated! <laugh>

luckily for us, jelavic is off-form at the moment. it will still be a tough match for us, i can see us probably losing to be honest especially if we put in a similar performance to the reading game (hope we play better)
