Don't think he needs the media to help smear himself. He does pretty well on his own i.e. lucky not to have got sent off against Wigan for that tackle Saturday.
A tackle very similar to the ones made by Paul Scholes throughout his career. I don't remember Scholes being in the papers everyday for his wretched tackles. In fact, I remember the general attitude from the press was something along the lines of "Haha! Good old Paul, still can't tackle bless him. Great player though". Although it's Suarez's fault for not being English, the fool.
I've not got any issue with this. Like others have pointed out, playing against someone like Suarez is extremely annoying. I've gone through a few players because they acted the **** or were just a very good player. Could work out well for us though... - Referees will see these comments and will be watching Williams - We can tell Suarez to aggrevate Williams - Suarez likes being centre of attention and usually plays better in these circumstances - Williams will feel under more pressure than usual because the world will be watching him
Don't know where you claim to have graduated from, but they didn't teach you anything about football there.
Agree with all your plus points for us but imagine if he had of said it about another player eg scholes? Clearly bringing the game into disrepute.
1. Are you suggesting there would be more fuss made because Scholes is a United player ? 2. Are you asking us to imagine that Scholes is also a diving cheating racist ?
Sorry lads , but Suarez brings the game into disrepute (he's not the only one),if he concentrated on what obvious talent he has then perhaps he wouldn't get the stick he gets .Perhaps he thrives on it ,who knows but at the moment any one outside of LFC will agree with any bad press that Suarez gets
He is suggesting that if Suarez (public enemy number one) made similar comments about Scholes (media darling) there would be more of a uproar. The former part is certainly true. ABS - Anything But Suarez
If there's one good thing about Suarez, it's that he does his talking on the pitch rather than fuelling fire in the papers.
You're entitled to your opinion bony. I personally see the British media running an almost racist agenda against Suarez, Like Shogun points out for all his faults on the field hes a decent family man and caring father off it but you wont read or hear that in the press because it's a positive aspect, the likes of Rooney amongst other things **** on his wife by using prostitutes yet hes still a media darling, even Giggs **** on his wife by banging his brothers wife and will still probably get a knighthood. Graham Rix was re-employed by Chelsea after his release from prison for a *****phile crime which was barely mentioned yet the media in this country have written reams of hate filled pages about a player that dives etc.
Anyway, after this weekend the FA won't be able to find him 'cos his name won't be Ash it'll be Toast - burnt at that!!!
Another lesson is to not bring an autobiography out when you have achieved nothing & end up having to fill pages with controversial drivel just to make the book long enough.
