Harry Redknapp has said he is serious about managing the Ukraine and that his people are in talks with them. Good news for those of you that don't want him back at your club. Or is it just a nudge to Roman that he is available but might not be for long?
Unfortunately for Arry I think Rafa to Chelsea is a done deal. Not that Arry would deserve the job there (or maybe he would?). I think he would take QPR, if he didn't think he'd fail to keep them up.
He certainly didn't rule QPR out on MOTD the other night did he? Just went all twitchy and said "it wouldn't be fair to discuss it". I actually think he would be a better choice for Chelsea than Rafa.
He won't take that job, he's just getting his name chucked around for free. He'd never even take a job up North......never mind in the bloody Ukraine!
The Ukrainian Football Federation have put in a bid to take over the Olympic Stadium. All home internationals will be played there, and since there are lots of Ukrainians settled in the London area, selling tickets will not be a problem. Got to hand it to 'Arry. He can spot a good deal all right.
As a former manager of yours who many of your fans dislike, and who was rumoured to be taking over from Adkins just 2 weeks ago, I would say it is probably of interest to most Saints fans that he may be taking a job elsewhere.
Him and his agent were pressuring QPR is what most people are saying ... I don't think they were prepared to wait any longer
Just said on Sky that he lives on the South Coast and can't return to either Pompey or Southampton. They cited his reception here when he joined Saints ...apart from when he left after relegation, did he get a bad time from the fans? I don't remember anything in particular.
