Leicester didn't play brilliantly against us, we just took the wrong approach to the game. Pearson had looked at how we dismembered Leeds, Bolton and Millwall and decided how to act against it. It worked and he exploited the space behind Elmo and Dudgeon allowing them to make minced meat of our defence. It'll certainly be a different game on Boxing Day.
You can believe what you want about the game, going against what everyone that watched including your own manager said about the game - but that we beat you 3-1 won't change. Of course our boxing day game will be different - you have learnt from your mistakes hence your league position and I for one am hoping that I won't be so skint after Xmas shopping that I might be able to able to go. My prediction is whoever wins that game will finish higher up at the end of the season - I've got nothing against Hull as a team (just some of your supporters) so I hope that will translate as 1st & 2nd at the end of the season.
I'm gutted the fixture is on boxing day!! I'm a student at the university here and so the one week I cannot go is the week i return home. I've just had to make do with watching us at Wednesday this weekend!! But guys seriously, Hull isn't that bad... yes you sometimes wonder whether some of the population should probably be in an institution, but generally speaking the Hull fans i speak to don't hate Leicester, or Pearson, just the way he left. And to bring the post back on topic, some of the football we've been playing this year is probably the best i've seen from a Leicester side in recent years!
Big Fox , I have money on Hull City and Leicester City both being promoted ...both clubs and both sets of fans deserve some success in my opinion ... Decent managers Decent players Decent fans with not much history of kicking off. Both teams doing well and both with cash to spend if need be .. You didn't know anything about your previous owners (before Ken Bates stepped in) so you should be used to it.
I knew a lot about one of the other parties (who bidded higher than bates) but seems to not get mentioned
Someone else mate, But the only people the creditors would work with was Bates and the people we owed biggest money to miraculously wrote off nearly 20 million quid that we owed them on the 1 condition that Bates took ownership. there was 3 offers at the time he took over and his was the lowest by far
