There's a thread on the QPR board that seems to be a bit deluded.
Basically they are playing Man U on Saturday and the guy seems to think that just because we beat Man U last week it follows that they can do the same this weekend. If Norwich can we can!

Well it helps if you have a manager who knows what he's doing to start with, and then maybe a group of players who play as a team!
Can't see Fergie letting that happen again in a hurry!

They may not have a manager at all if Fernandes does an Ambro on him when he arrives in London on Friday !

I saw this thread and couldn't bring myself to reply. Personally I hope that Agent Hughes keeps his job for a little while yet as that would mean only another two teams to finish above to stay up!

was anyone impressed with united on saturday? i know i wasn't and although you'd have to expect them to bounce back against qpr, its hardly impossible. from what i gather qpr are going to bring back some of the old guard and drop the expensive flops, so they may just get a performance out of them.

I thought their passing and movement in general was good and often better than ours but where they lacked was in the penetration. I was never really comfortable at any time when they had the ball to be honest because you just never knew for sure if they could/would find the one ball that eluded our back line, as it did last season in injury time.

I think if you are at QPR then you've at least got to believe you can go to Old Trafford and get something from the game. When you consider the beatings we took when we first adjusted to the CH style, it's not going to be easy for another team to master. While I think we all snigger a little at QPRs plight after spending so much money, they are going to get a win sometime, and Man U are struggling at the moment. I expect SAF will change things around for the weekend, especially in midfield.

i felt they were pedestrian all over the park. i have to say that i was very comfortable with us defending and catching them on the break. naturally, van persie could muster something ingenious up at any moment but he hardly touched the ball. we probably should have won the match by a bigger margin in the end

they could have done with not selling heigar helguson - he knew where the back of the net was. they tried to bring too many new players in.

I think the club we are says a lot for what is happening. I watched the game on ESPN and the smile on SAF's face when CH greeted him, and it looked genuine warmth of that smile, makes me believe that there is respect from many in the game for a club like ours and reflects in our treatment.
I would hazard a good guess that if you polled the other clubs on who they would LIKE to see relegated, we wouldn't be in the bottom eight.
QPR and TF want to be in the limelight. We have pleasant owners, pleasant management team and players who genuinely look pleased to be where they are.

IMO Manure will be like a wounded animal at the weekend and turn over koo-pee-aar no problem. Rooney should be back too <ok>

Had an off day according to most of the "fans" I've talked to. Not too surprised by that, as that's what they all say when we beat them. I feel we didn't let them play or find a rhythm, Holty was pushing their defence all over the place, and our midfield countered their's. I don't think they expected us to compete with them in the way we did, almost 50-50 posession stats tells the true story. So NO I don't think they had an off day, I think we were brilliant and I thoroughly enjoyed the game.

United will be looking to bounce back - QPR may be in for a thrashing but if they bring in some players who want to wear the shirt rather than players who want to spend the cash then it might be a closer game.

    3-1 to Man Ure !

beeb are always wrong. official match stats were 38-62 united's favour, which to be honest seemed about right to me. they had quite a bit of the ball, especially in the final 10 minutes, but they didn't do much with it. we let them have the ball in their own half without putting any pressure on them until they crossed halfway
