Well said Supers. This isnt meant to be us being better/ not as bad as Norwich at something and the associated petty bull****e pointscoring associated with it. Its about professionalism and being fit to do your job.
Do we seem to have a team that cares and take pride in their job? For me no and its amazing how the bad performances and bad press go hand in hand. Its not because we dont care when we are playing well but because when we are playing well its normally with a grounded set of individuals being true professionals and not total tossers.

i even said when i made my first point that if you dig deep enough you will find muppets playing at every club, but my point is that you barely need to scratch the surface at ipswich these days to find them. you've got a team full of them. i wasn't trying to point score - just pointing out the obvious. amazing how some don't see it... or maybe they do and they refuse to let on that they see it

I wasn't refusing to see it Supers, I was simply pointing out that these things happen in modern day football, simply because of the sheer number of idiots in football there will be a time when a few of them congregate at one club. It has happened to you and you have come out the other end, it happens at other clubs and it happens in fits and spells, (Cycles if you like)
It is our turn to attract the numpties of football for the time being, maybe it will be Norwich's next? (I doubt it) but I think in MM we have a guy who can atleast straighten out some of our issues if not be the messiah that JWM hails him as.

This is a dark time for us but I imagine that in a couple of years time we will be looking at it in the similar way you refer to some of your idiots as gone and forgotten

but every time we've had off-field issues they have had a detrimental effect on the pitch - that has been my point all along. you have an alarming amount of issues which keep cropping up, even just this season! there's something almost every other week. i'm sorry but that is NOT normal. i agree with you that mick mccarthy won't put up with it, or at least he shouldn't. having said that, he had issues with wolves players last season with roger johnson and another (sorry can't remember who it was now) misbehaving and what happened to wolves again...?
