This name of Diego Perotti has been bandied about for a while,as it was reported that Damien Comolli has highlighted him as a possible target for one of the wide positions.
According to some reports today he could be on the market for £15.5 million.Other reports suggest that Spurs are interested and willing to offer Niko Krancjar or Giovani Dos Santos in part exchange.
I don't know a whole lot about him except he's a winger and he's 22 which would mean he's the ideal age for the the owners overall blue-print.I wonder what some of you think or have heard.
I read on the official site in the gossip column, that Damien Comolli is sanctioning a £25 million bid for a wing wonderkid his name I can't remember at this moment. You may be able to identify him.

I don't understand how a player I've never heard of is worth the heavier side of £15m but Lucas was being banded anout in the gossip columns for a meagre £3m

How do the media do their maths? Do they spell the name on a scrabble board and whatever the total points are, they convert it in to millions?

I don't understand either why Lucas has been bandied about to be sold dor £3 million either.18 months ago Rafa slapped a £14 million price tag on his head.Thats was 18 months ago,and Lucas has improved 500 times over since that.Back then the only team he played well against was Man United. That was due to them having a central midfield that was as much use as a chocolate tea-pot.However some things have changed, and other things haven't,Lucas has come on leaps and bounds, and Man United still have a central midfield that is as much use as a chocolate tea-pot.

Perotti is that winger who plays for Valencia no? I doubt he would cost as much 15 million. Is the wing wonderkid you are talking about Alexis Sanchez?

No, he plays for Sevilla. Apparently touted as a revelation in la liga this season and recently signed a 5 year contract. He's got a release clause of £40m apparently. Not worth it at all! Not to mention the club don't want to sell him either...

Iker Muniain would be a very good buy if we could fend off the interest from other clubs! Looks like he'll be a highly sought after player this summer, so if we can get Kenny's contract sort asap and stick in a good early bid for him we may just get him.

Lots of players in spanish clubs have ridiculous release clauses for some reason.

Navas ahead of perotti for me. He loves to get down and whip a ball in. I know more about Diego Capel than Perotti.

Navas still has that homesickness problem though doesn't he? Its a real pity because I would love to see him in the prem.

I think every Spanish contract has to have a release clause in it as part of their league agreement. But they have little bearing to the actual value of the player - I think Ronaldo's is 1 billion Euros!! You could probably buy Luxembourg for that...

Navas gets homesick more often than Stan Collymore. Its the reason why he is yet to be a regular for Spain.

I'd take Turan, but I'd expect Ashley young as well. For the first time in ages we have money to use, I'd rather we splashed the cash now as we may not see it again for years.

Turan, Young, Coentrão and M'Vila would be a very successful summer to me. I have a feeling we'll have a few surprise signings though, when you look at the amount FSG have been forking out recently even Messi wouldn't be out of our reach (no way though).

That wouldn't surprise me in the slightest.John Henry has been known to make signings for the Red Sox to piss off the New York Yankees.I hope he does likewise to piss Man United off.

There has been names bandied about such as Downing and Jarvis.I think we can look for better than both tbh. However lets see what happens.I still believe that at least one wideman will be signed.
