Our top scorer and only target man striker, being injured is good news? this injury has probably been aggravated by playing with injections , cos there is no-one else. If Tony is still wondering whether to sack clueless, I suggest he look at this very predictable situation. We just need our last remaining 30something striker to get injured now. BTW this old news .
Christ almighty. we went into the season with three strikers, which we all said was madness. Now we have 1 left for a month and half at least. Thats if anyone will come to us in jan!
We were saying earlier in the season how its bizarre how many players were getting injured and we questioned training and treatment of injuries.
In fairness, you may well be right. Which makes me feel better about the guy - it could also be at the bottom of his interview when he said (effectively) he was disillusioned with football
there was once a man called heider helgusson oh yeh to old my arse better player than zamora oh & can jump.
It's strange that so many players prove themselves yet don't get to see the light of day at QPR (it happens elsewhere too). Helguson bossed defences around, even in the EPL. Clint Hill was our player of the season last season and he's barely played in the CB position since. Gorkss was kicked out after our promotion, even though he was one of our very best players beforehand. Who else?
I genuinely hate Hughes. He is getting paid 3 million a year and he is making blindingly obvious mistakes that we all saw. Disgraceful that Hughes Twont do the honourable thing and resign. I've been told that he wont do it because Bowen cant afford to resign as he's spent big on a fancy house and couldnt afford the mortage without the income. Hughes should resign and the other cronies should be allowed a pay off. An old Evening Standard Article supports this story; http://www.standard.co.uk/sport/foo...d-rangers-fight-against-the-drop-7636360.html And, though, so many football types go for the mock Tudor detached, out-of-town residence, this QPR No2 resides slap bang in the middle of the poshest bit of real estate in London . . . Belgravia. He quickly points out: “It’s a small place and we had to push ourselves to the limit to get it. But with three kids all grown up, we wanted to try living in the centre of town and we love it. There is a buzz about the place. “When I came to QPR I quickly found out the owner Tony Fernandes has a place about 50 yards round the corner from me. So I have to be on my best behaviour whenever he’s back in the country!”
While we're talking about hips, Bowen said last week Young had a hip problem in the off season and underwent surgery which ruled him out for 4 months, which is why he isn't in the 25.
