I think this was talked about a few days ago on here?
So is it confirmed yet, or just rumours? I'm looking to get a ticket as I'll be able to stay in my sisters house that shes moving into that summer and it'll hopefully be a showcase for a new signing or two?!!
And would it be difficult to get tickets? I'm a member at the moment but would that apply for a pre-season, and would members even manage to get tickets?
    Should be a decent game!
    Cheers

Apparently memberships/ST don't count, first come first served for pre-seasons as far as I'm aware.
So just get in quick and you'll be fine. Tickets will be canny cheap I think, and train's costing me less than £15, so can't wait :D

Rangers went on sale quite early I think. It will be around June time. Should have a big allocation.

Rangers tickets were about 3-5weeks before the game I believe
think the demand for Leeds will be about the same

It was confirmed in the LUFC programme last week. Question is will Newcastle take as many to Leeds as we did to you in our last pre-season match at the Sportsdirect.com Arena?

Leeds only brought just over 2000, we will take 5k if offered.

More like 4-5,000 we took on a weeknight. A lot bought on the day, we don't usually do a formal application process in preseason.

my dads a massive leeds fan so i thought it'd be the perfect opportunity for us to go to a game together.. (and of course, a free ride for me there) until i found out he was on holiday when it's rumoured to be. gutted!

will be coming if i can find an alternative way to get there though, and some company of course!

That's what I was told at least. Everywhere I look on the internet seems to echo that figure of 4,000, an NUFC site says Leeds sold out our original 2,000 allocation and the LUFC site says we sold more on the night. Northern Echo report says more than 4,000 Leeds fans too.

Just got to hope that we get them down their in a cup game.

Might have been some in home ends but the section you had wouldn't fit that amount. Was still a good backing, but it happens all the time when a small club travels to a big club ;)

Thought our max away allocation was only about 2800? Or do they change it for friendlies?
